JDM cars, also known as, Japanese Domestic Market in gaming are cars that were design based on Japanese cars in real life. GTA 5 JDM cars often have great style as well as high quality. They are famous for the ability to handle sharp turns at high speed and make amazing drifts.

1 .Karin 190z

- Real-life models: Nissan S30 & Toyota 2000GT
The design of the 190z is a combination of the Datsun 240Z/Nissan Fairlady Z/Nissan S30 and Toyota 2000GT. You can see the side profile and front fascia of the Nissan. Meanwhile, the rear fascia interior is from the Toyota.
The Karin 190z has an average acceleration and top speed compared to other cars in its class. However, it has a great handle, allowing players to travel through rough terrain with great control. This car is a great option for new players.
2. Vulcar Warrener

- Real-life models: Nissan Skyline, Datsun 510, Toyota Corolla & Peugeot 504
While the Vulcar Warrener has Swedish origin, it has most of its traits from Japanese cars. The design of the vehicle is heavily based on Nissan Skyline GTR KGC10, Datsun 510 and the first year of the Toyota Corolla KE70. The front of the car is a mix of the Peugeot 504 and Nissan Skyline C10. The chassis of the car resembles a mix of the Datsun 510 and Volvo 144.
The Vulcar Warrener has high acceleration and top speed for its class. The car is light, making handling very responsive. However, due to its powerful engine, players need to drive carefully to avoid spinout.
3. Karin Futo

- Real-life models: Toyota Corolla Levin AE86 and Nissan Skyline DR30
The Karin Futo is mostly based on the 1983-1987 Toyota Corolla Levin AE86 with various elements from the 1983-1985 Nissan Skyline DR30 RS Turbo. The interior's dash of the car looks exactly the same as the real-life AE86 dash.
The acceleration and top speed of the Karin Futo are not enough to compete with most sports cars in GTA 5. Still, it is a very decent choice. A skilled player can make this car just as capable as any other car.
4. Albany Primo

The Albany Primo is a four-door sedan that resembles a 1992-1997 Cadillac Seville. The front headlights, taillights, and grille of the car are from the 1987-1993 Cadillac Allante.
The vehicle is outclassed by other similar cars in GTA 5. It has great crash resistance and is a decent choice for its price.
5. Karin Sultan C

- Real-life models: Lexus IS, Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution
The body shape of the Karin Sultan C has based on the first-generation Lexus IS. There are other elements that resemble the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution V and Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI.
This is one of the best GTA 5 JDM cars with good speed, acceleration, traction, and handling. Its durability is average and its brake is awful. It takes a long time for the car to fully stop.
6. Zirconium Stratum

The design of the Zirconium Stratum was based on the fifth-generation (1994–1997) Honda Accord wagon. The hood, hood badge, grill of the car are derived from the S3-R31 and R32 Nissan Skyline.
The car has responsive handling and improved braking but is still quite underwhelming when compared to other GTA 5 JDM cars. While the vehicle is light, but the steering is somewhat heavy.

8. Imponte Ruiner

The vehicle has oversteering problems, making it hard to handle even light turns. However, in the hand of skilled players, it is one of the best GTA 5 JDM cars to drift around corners.
12. Dinka Blista Compact

The Dinka Blista Compact is designed based on the Honda CR-X. The interior of the car is exactly the same as the Futo.
The vehicle has a small V6 engine with good power. Its performance is more comparable to compact cars than sports cars. It has high acceleration but low top speed. At high speed, it has understeer problems.
13. Bravado Banshee 900R

17. Maibatsu Penumbra

- Real-life models: Mitsubishi Eclipse, Scion tC and Dodge Dart
The Maibatsu Penumbra closely resembles the North American styling of the 2012 Mitsubishi Eclipse. The front bumper is taken from the first generation Scion tC while the headlights look like those of the 2013-2016 Dodge Dart.
The performance of the Penumbra is only above average compared to cars in its class. The car lacks acceleration and has weak brakes. However, it stands out for having great handling at any speed.
