Anemo and Hydro Hilichurl Rogues always spawn together. There are seventeen spots in the Girdle of the Sands Desert where you can find these enemies. They gather around Gavireh Lajavard and the northwest corner of Asipattravana Swamp.
It would be better to use Teleport Waypoints to start your farming routes. Go to the following locations to find these elite enemies.
- Temir mountains
- Gate of Dhu-l-Qarnayn
- Asipattravan swamp
In each location, you will counter an Anemo or a Hydro enemy, or both of them. Defeat them to pick up necessary drops.
II. How To Defeat Hilichurl Rogues
Both Hydro and Anemo Hilichurl Rogues are Elite Enemies. You may need some wise tips to defeat them. Here are must-know tips and tactics to finish these opponents quickly and effectively.
2.1. Anemo Hilichurl Rogues
Anemo Hilichurl Rogues summon Anemo Slimes to attack your characters. To counter this boss, follow this guide.
- Use a bow to shoot the Anemo slime from a safe distance to bring the Hilichurl Rogue back to the ground.
- When it falls to the ground, this enemy will be weakened for a while.
- During the Weakened Stage of this Elite Boss, unleash the most powerful attacks and elemental reactions to defeat Anemo Hilichurl Rogues.
You should have a bow wielder in your team to shoot the boss when it's floating in mid-air.
2.2. Hydro Hilichurl Rogues
Hydro Hilichurl Rogues also summon Slimes. These Hydro Slimes will shoot Mist Bubbles to your characters. This elite boss is very annoying when you get trapped inside these bubbles. Here's how to defeat this enemy.
- Approach the Hydro Hilichurl Rogue and stop it from summoning the slime.
- If the boss has summoned the slime, take it out quickly and avoid mist bubbles.
- Build a proper team comp to counter this boss. Use Dendro-based teams to take them out quickly by triggering continual reactions.
Hydro Hilichurl Rogues can be dangerous when they come with Cryo Spiral Mages. Therefore, you should avoid attracting these enemies before approaching these bosses.
III. How To Use Hilichurl Rogue Drops
After defeating Hyro and Anemo Hilichurl Rogues, Genshin Impact players can pick three types of materials, including:
- A Flower Yet To Bloom
- Treasured Flower
- Wanderer’s Blooming Flower
You must use these Hilichurl Rogue drops to level up two weapons - Jadefall's Splendor and Ibis Piercer. Besides, these enemies often spawn around treasure chests. Then, you can open these chests and collect valuable rewards.
