Garena has finally announced the Schedule and Format for the next stages of Free Fire India Championship 2021 (FFIC 2021). It is going to be the next big tournament for Free Fire in the 2nd half of the year boasting a massive prize pool of ₹75 lakh. In this article, we are going to showcase the revealed schedule and format of the Closed Qualifier and League Stage, alongside the final roster of the latter.
1 - FFIC Fall 2021 Closed Qualifier format and schedule
42 qualified teams from the previous stage along with 6 teams from Free Fire Pro League 2021 Summer will split into 4 groups of 12. Each group will play a best of 6 - the winner and runner up will advance to the next stage.
The 3rd to 5th spots of each group will participate in day 2, League Play-Ins in another best of 6. The top 4 will advance to the League Stage.
The closed qualifier of Free Fire India Championship 2021 will be held on Sept 1 and 2.
2 - FFIC Fall 2021 League Stage format and schedule
12 qualified teams from the previous stage and the top 6 of FFPL 2021 Summer will be divided into 3 groups. They will compete over 3 weeks, with matches being played only on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Groups will play against each other in a round-robin format, 3 times.
At the end of each day, teams will get points based on their placement in the pool. The top-ranking team scores 20 points, followed by the following four teams scoring 17, 14, 12, 10, and 8 points, respectively.
The top 2 of each group will advance to the Grand Finals, while the remaining 12 will continue to the Play-ins on October 10.

- Matchday-1 - September 17 (Friday) - Groups A and B
- Matchday-2 - September 18 (Saturday) - Groups B and C
- Matchday-3 - September 19 (Sunday) - Groups A and C
- Matchday-4 - September 24 (Friday) - Groups B and C
- Matchday-5 - September 25 (Saturday) - Groups A and C
- Matchday-6 - September 26 (Sunday) - Groups A and B
- Matchday-7 - October 1 (Friday) - Groups A and C
- Matchday-8 - October 2 (Saturday) - Groups A and B
- Matchday-9 - October 3 (Sunday) - Groups B and C

Disqualifications
Garena has just disqualified 16 teams from the tournament for being unable to follow its rules:
13 of them have players under the age of 16, which violates Rule 6.2.1 of the Official Rulebook.
