This easter egg is pretty well-known - players can come to Mount Gordo in the middle of the night with a sniper rifle and look down the scope toward the peak. They would witness the creepy ghost of Jolene Cranley-Evans that disappears if they come too close.

Jolene's husband pushed her down the cliff after she refused to move out of Blaine County.

2. The Amityville House

The house is very similar to the infamous Amityville House, one of the most haunted houses in the world. Players can find this legendary house in Alderney, and there have been reports of ghostly sightings and haunting screams.

It is based on a real-life story where a man named DeFeo kills his whole family. The Lutz family eventually bought the house, and claimed the ghosts of the DeFeo family haunted them. The story of the Lutzes was turned into a book called The Amityville Horror.

3. Inside The Statue Of Happiness (GTA 4)

This is one of the creepiest and most iconic easter eggs in the history of gaming. In GTA 4, players can get inside the Statue Of Happiness (an obvious knockoff of The Statue Of Liberty) and discover a gigantic heart with chains coming out of it.

They need to land directly at the base of the statue (which is pretty tricky), go through a fake door then climb the ladder.

4. Back O' Beyond Woods (GTA: San Andreas)

The Back O' Beyond Woods in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is the original place where the big foot rumor in GTA comes from. While no one has seen any Big Foot spawns, there are still plenty of creepy things about the place nonetheless.

Players can find a random driverless car heading toward them while walking in the wood. This is allegedly a glitch where the game spawns a car and the hilly terrains cause it to move around.

5. Apartment 3C (GTA: Vice City)

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City is heavily inspired by Scarface, and because of that, there are a number of references to the movies here. Amongst them, Apartment 3C is the creepiest. It is just a random apartment that players can enter - everything in it are normal, except for the grisly sights in the bathroom.

This is a nod to the iconic murder scene of Angel in Scarface. Players can pick up a chainsaw here.

6. Mine Shaft (GTA 5)

This location was locked up in the original GTA 5, however, in the Enhanced version, players can just destroy the boards with an explosive weapon to clear the way.

The path inside the mine is completely dark, and players must use a flashlight to navigate it. There are long tunnels that lead nowhere, railroad tracks, and mining tools. At the end of the tunnel is a wrinkled body wearing old 1940s clothing.

7. El Castillo Del Diablo (GTA: San Andreas)

Players can find a pit filled with bodies inside the rock formations of El Castillo del Diablo in GTA SA. As the place is rather close to the ghost town Las Brujas and Area 69 (a nod to the mysterious Area 51), fan theorizes that the government has experimented on the residents of the town and dumped the bodies there.

8. Ghost Town (GTA 3)

GTA 3 brings the game to a 3D world, and the technology of the time has created quite a few creepy elements. One of them is the Ghost Town, which was used for the first cutscene in the game. Players can reach it by flying the Dodo - there is neither collision detection nor people there.

9. Merle Abrahams' House (GTA 5)

Merle Abrahams (1947 - 2004), more commonly known as The Infinity Killer, is a serial killer in Grand Theft Auto V. While he does not appear, Abrahams is mentioned numerous times throughout the game. He is responsible for the Infinity Murders carried out in December of 1999, in which he murdered 8 people and buried them in a secret place in San Andreas.

The house is charred and abandoned, with disturbing graffiti all over the wall related to the number eight. There's also a set of tally marks counting to 15, which can be his actual kill count.

10. Abandoned Sprunk Factory (GTA 4)

The Abandoned Sprunk Factory has a ton of fan theories revolving around it, as players have seen alligators and ghosts roaming the area. There are also random screams in the location that happens when a person fires a gun, which could be because the hobos under the building hear the gunshots and scream out of horror.

GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition expected release date

Based on Take-Two Interactive's report for the fiscal first quarter of 2023,  the GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition mobile port is expected to come out on Android and iOS before March 2023. Take-Two is the mother company of Rockstar, GTA Series' developer.

This report was revealed by a famous GTA insider - it is likely that the company revealed this info during a shareholder meeting.

Fans have been waiting for this port ever since the remaster comes out. GTA San Andreas is one of the best games in the entire series. Many fans considered it to be a cult classic, with a much better plot and missions than GTA 5. With the Definitive Edition coming out last year, fans are replaying San Andreas again. In this article, Gurugamer is going to showcase the 5 most iconic missions in San Andreas that players absolutely cannot miss.

1. Freefall

This mission pretty much cemented CJ's badassery. Salvatore Leone wants him to kill some Forelli gang hitmen before they even have the chance to land in Las Venturas. CJ decided to follow the request to the letter and steal a small plane to meet the rival jet in mid-air.

Afterward, CJ jumps out and infiltrates the other plane. He takes control of the plane and lands it after killing everyone onboard. Overall, with the story of San Andreas being somewhat grounded, having a Hollywood-style mission like Freefall is definitely refreshing.

2. Reuniting the Families

In this mission, a meeting with all the Grove Street gangs goes awry. CJ must rescue Sweet from inside a motel while getting attacked by cops.

The best part of this mission is the chase afterward, with a rail shooting segment filled with awesome moments. It took a lot of inspiration from chasing scenes in 80-90s movies such as Terminator 2 and Con Air. The climax of the race involving the player doing a massive jump through a billboard, followed by a massive explosion. It is the biggest mission of San Andreas up to that point.

3. Saint Mark's Bistro

This is the final mission for CJ from Salvatore Leone. In this mission, players get to go outside of San Andreas to Liberty City. Their job is to eliminate Marco Forelli, the one behind the assassin squad sent in the previous mission. CJ arrives in Saint Mark's Bistro and eliminates all the mobsters there.

Realizing the opportunity to free Paul, Maccer and Rosenberg, Carl asks Salvatore to let him take the three as back-up, to which Salvatore agrees, due to him thinking that Carl would kill them. Overall, players love this mission because they get to visit Liberty City again.

4. The Da Nang Thang

This is one of the more unique missions in San Andreas, which involve players taking over a big boat. After directly attacking the boat by sweeping over it with a helicopter, the player crash down and lose all their weapons. They must find new guns while fighting on the boat.

Carl boards the ship and kills several Da Nang Boys until he finds the prisoners and frees them. Afterward, he makes his way to the Da Nang Boys' leader, The Snakehead, for a final showdown.

5. End Of The Line

The final mission of the game is one of the biggest and most memorable. Players can trigger it after taking over a number of gang territories in the city. In this quest, CJ mounts a big assault into the building where Big Smoke is hiding, after shooting his way through all the gangsters, Carl comes face to face with the man he once trusted and eliminates him.

Afterward, Tenpenny tries to kill CJ but failed. He flees and then the rest of the missions become a chase where you hunt down the dirty cop while he's driving a firetruck.

GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition is a remaster of the original PS2 port of GTA Trilogy. San Fierro is the most urbanized city in the game. Whereas the streets of Los Santos are poverty-stricken with drug addicts and dealers, San Fierro is relatively safer. While there are local gangs, they aren't nearly as hostile as the Ballas and Vagos in Los Santos.

Las Venturas

Las Venturas is based on the real life city of Las Vegas, Nevada. Similar to its counterpart, Las Venturas is located in a desert region and hosts legalized gambling, sporting casinos. It has a gigantic freeway system that spans the whole city.

Casinos play an instrumental role in GTA San Andreas. At one point in the game, the game's protagonist, Carl Johnson, pulls off an Ocean's Eleven-esque heist in Caligula's Casino. It's one of the main reasons Las Venturas is so unforgettable.

2. San Andreas in GTA V

The version of San Andreas is GTA V and GTA Online is closely based on real life California.
