The much-awaited Free Fire OB41 Advance Server has finally been launched, granting players the exciting opportunity to explore new unreleased features and changes ahead of the official update. If any member of your team eliminates the marked opponent, they will receive an additional 100 in-match currency. Free Fire OB41 ability changes

As is customary with Free Fire updates, the OB41 Advance Server brings a series of ability adjustments to characters, enhancing their roles in the game.

Notably, Antonio's ability has changed from providing an additional 40 HP to granting 40 extra Shield Points at the start of the match.

Nairi's ability has undergone a significant overhaul, with her Gloo Walls now restoring 250 durability every second, and teammates within a 5m range receiving 20 HP per second, up to a maximum of 40 HP per teammate per Gloo Wall.

Shani's Gear Recycle ability has been updated to provide 50 Shield Points to herself and teammates within 10m upon using the active skill, but the Shield Points will decay after 5 seconds. Additionally, the ability now comes with a 10-second cooldown.

Meanwhile, Shirou's Damage Delivered ability has been slightly nerfed. Instead of dealing additional damage, Shirou now marks enemies who hit him within 100m for 6 seconds, sharing the intel with teammates, with a maximum cap of four markings.

• Male Mystery Character 1 (based on DJ Dimitri)

Ability: Vital Vibes (Passive)

Vital Vibes is a passive ability that increases rescue speed by a percentage. With every successful rescue, players will replenish some HP in 5 seconds. Overall, this ability is super situational - it is only useful in Duo and Squad, and only effective when a bad situation already happened. At least it is not an active skill - you can combine Vital Vibes with pretty much everything.

This character is going to be based based on real-life DJ Dimitri Vegas. We are going to have a collab with him in OB29.

• Male Mystery Character 2 (Thiva)

Ability: Healing Heartbeat (Active)

Healing heartbeat creates a healing aura around the user similar to Alok's skill. The aura lasts for 10 seconds and has a diameter of 5m. When users or allies are downed in the AOE, they can get up by themselves. While this might seems strong, Healing Heartbeat has almost double the cooldown time of Alok's skill - 85 seconds.

Overall, this ability is going to be super overpowered in any mode. It pretty much gives you a second life, as long as the enemies are not close enough to finish you off. The feature of allowing teammates to self-rescue is also pretty crazy. You can just pop the skill and run near for your teammate to get up by themselves. While waiting, you can cover them by engaging enemies.

The long cooldown is the only problem... however, just add the Rockie pet for Cooldown reduction and it'd all be worth it.

• Female Mystery Character 1 (Moco Awakened)

Ability: Enigma's Eye

It is a passive upgrade for Moco Awakened version. Enigma's Eye applies on top of her existing skill. This means upon getting hit, the targets can be marked for up to 7 seconds if they move. Overall, this is pretty pointless and weak - 2 more seconds of tracking won't make much of a difference. Still, it is a "free upgrade", so there's no reason for you to not get Moco Awakening.

2 - New Tiger Ninja Pet

Tiger Ninja is the new pet in OB29. Based on a recent leak, his skill is going to be the reverse of D-Bee's passive. With it equipped, you would deal more damage to moving targets. Overall, damage boosts are always welcome in Free Fire, especially when it is on the pet slot. The Tiger Ninja should be suitable for pretty much any build, both short and long range.

Appearance-wise, the Tiger Ninja looks pretty cool, with a sword equipped on its back.

3 - New Gun AC80

A new gun is going to be added to Free Fire in the OB29 patch. It is a marksman rifle called AC80. The special ability of this gun is that two consecutive hits from it will deal extra damage - just about enough to kill an opponent outright.

Overall, the AC80 is another new choice for sniper players. It encourages continuous attacks, with the massive bonus damage on the second hit.

4 - Character Changes

• Jota's Sustained Raid

Jota's ability now heals you when you damage enemies. Furthermore, knocking down one will restore 20HP for users. Overall, this is a rebalance that makes the skill much easier to use. Unlike the previous version that only works on SMGs and Shotguns, OB29 Sustained Raid works on everything.

While the 20HP gained after a kill is not nearly as good as the previous version, you should be able to gain that much HP gunning down enemies anyway.

• Luqueta's Hat Trick

The amount of max HP that can be gained increases from 35 to 50, overall a slight buff. 250 max HP would go a long way in winning matches, but you need to charge it up with 2-3 kills first.

5 - Training Island Changes

A new Grenade Range is added to the training island so that players can practice their throwing skills. This is a great quality of life feature, especially when more grenades are getting released.

6 - Craftland

Players can now create their own unique custom maps and upload them to play in custom rooms with friends. This is probably the biggest map-related feature added to Free Fire to date. The map editor is pretty robust - players can add various objects, structures, buildings, decorations, and more.

Rafael Old Ability: You will not be revealed on the mini-map for 8s. CD 90s (40s max)

Rafael New Ability: Silencing effect when using snipers and marksman rifles. Enemies hit and downed suffer 20% faster HP loss, up to 45 % at Level 6.

Rafael has been forgotten due to his weak ability with a huge cooldown, not to mention losing an active ability slot. Now he will have a passive permanent silencing effect while using snipers and marksman rifles, making him the best choice for sniper players. With these changes, we are also going to see him more in Squad games as finishing a downed enemy is very important. You can also save the active ability slot for other skills.

2. New A124 Ability

A124 Old Ability: Quickly convert 25 EP (50 EP max) into HP within 2.5 seconds, CD 90s (60s max).

A124 New Ability: Convert 20 EP (60 EP max) into HP within 4 seconds, up to 60 EP in Level 6 CD: 10s.

Basically, A124 will convert a little bit more EP over a little bit longer period of time. The cooldown of the skill is significantly reduced, making her actually much more decent now. As long as you have enough EP, you can just keep healing your HP to full constantly, might be even 2 to 3 times in one fight. A124 will make an absolutely insane combo with Miguel as Miguel can provide up to 90 EP after each kill.

3. New Wukong Ability

Wukong Old Ability: Turn into a Bush, CD: 300s (200s max).

Wukong New Ability: Transforms into a bush, lasting for 10s, CD 250s. Transformation stop when Wukong attack. CD reset when Wukong takes down an enemy. At Level 6, the duration is 15 seconds and the cooldown is 150 seconds.

Wukong received a massive buff in the next update as his ability has a much shorter cooldown and longer duration. However, the most important buff is that the skill will reset whenever you take down an enemy. That means you can use it over and over again facing multiple players and there is nothing the enemy can do. Wukong has just suddenly become a scary character in the hand of skilled rusher players in this update.

4. New Chrono Ability

Chrono Old Ability: Creates a force field that blocks 600 damages. One can fire at outside foes from within the force field. Movement speed increases by 15% (30% max). During skill activation, allies within the force field gets 10% (15% max) increase in movement speed. All effects last for 4s (9s max). CD 50s.

Chrono New Ability: Creates a force field that blocks 900 damages. One can fire at outside foes from within the force field. Movement speed increases by 5% (15% max). All effects last for 3s (8s max). CD: 200s (170s max).

Chrono's ability has been nerfed in almost every aspect. The shield has 300 more HP but provides less movement speed buff, a shorter duration, and most importantly a super long cooldown. Even at level 6, the skill has a 170s cooldown, meaning that you can only use it a few times in a match at most.

Comparing to the new ability of Wukong then Chrono is actually the weaker character now.

5. New Andrew Ability

Andrew Old Ability: Vest durability loss decreased by 2% (12%).

Andrew Awaken Ability: Vest durability loss decreased by 2%. Armor reduces 8% more damage to the body. Addition 0.15% damage reduction for every teammate who has this skill.

Andrew was an OK character before for new players, but with this buff, he is going to be an insane character, especially in Squad mode. Not only it is harder to break his armor but his armor is also more effective. Moreover, he is free so it is super easy for your whole Squad to use this skill together and make the skill even more effective.

6. Awaken Ability Mechanic Change

Currently, Awaken abilities are just a separated ability that will use an additional ability slot. Those Awken abilities are not really good abilities so not many players want to use them. In the next update, Free Fire is going to combine Awaken abilities with the original abilities of the character. So basically you will upgrade the original ability when you Awaken a character. So far, Kelly and Hayato are the only Awakwen characters in Free Fire.

7. 5th Ability Slot

New 5th Ability Slot

In Free Fire, you can combine the abilities of up to 4 different characters to bring into combats. This creates dynamic gameplay with many different skill combinations created by players. In the next update, they are going to let players unlock the 5th ability slot, allowing players to create even more insane combos with their characters.

Awaken Abilities Rework

Free Fire has 2 Awakwen characters so far, which are Kelly and Hayato. However, most players don't use these Awaken abilities because they are just simply not good enough. It not even worth unlocking these abilities. In the next update, Free Fire is going to combine Awaken abilities with the original abilities of the Awakened characters.

There are also some images about the Awaken form of Andrew. The detail of his ability is currently unknown.

New Character Xtrema And MR1

Data miners have found out 2 new Free Fire characters in the advanced server named Xtrema and Mr1. We have yet to have any further information about these characters. They might or might not be released in the OB27 update.

New Pet Dreki and Etzin

The next update is going to bring a really powerful pet for rushers into Free Fire. It is a dragon pet called Dreki. Dreki's ability is a passive ability that can spot the location of an enemy nearby who is using Med Kit. The second pet is an alien pet called Etzin. This pet's ability will reduce the damage you take when you are using the healing item. It doesn't sound like a very good skill in combats. However, it a great skill if you want to stay outside the safe zone and play a healing battle.

PARAFAL can only use Red Dot

PARAFAL got a big nerf in range and recoil in the OB26 update. But those are not all, it also now cannot use any scope other than Red Dot, which Garena didn't mention at all. Surely that is not a too big problem for skilled players, it does make this weapon a little bit harder to use in long-range fights.

K's ability cooldown reduces to 3 seconds

K is one of the best characters at the moment in Free Fire. His skill lets you switch between 2 modes to regen EP or to quickly regen HP. The cooldown of this skill is quite high, 20 seconds so players really need to think before changing the mode.

But in this update, the cooldown of this skill has been reduced to 3 seconds, make the character much more versatile in combats.

You can look around while sprinting

One reason why many people don't use the Spriting feature is that you can't look around, which is really dangerous because other players might spot you while you running. Being able to look around while sprinting makes this feature much more useful now.

The Couple System has been implemented in a lot of online games, especially MMORPG games. Free Fire is now going to have a Couple System for players as well in the OB26 update. Players who use this feature will get many exclusive rewards and bonuses in the game, including skins, badges, missions,...

Free Fire Dynamic Duo System

This feature will be available on February 4th with the OB26 update. In order to use this feature, players need to pay 100 Diamonds to send a request to another player. That player needs to accept within 8 hours or the request will be taken back. You can only make 1 request at a time.

When the other person accepts, both of you will become a couple with a relationship badge and many other exclusive rewards. There will be a relationship point system with rewards.

These points can be earned by playing together or gift each other presents. Players can get a total of 500 relationship points per week. On your anniversary day, you will get double the rewards.

All players in the match will be able to see your relationship badge and level, which might not be a very good thing as other players might jealous and focus on you.

Much like a real-life relationship, you can break up a relationship if both players agree to do so and it won't cost anything. You cannot send another relationship request within the first 48 hours after breaking up.

The Free Fire OB26 Advanced server is now open for players to test new features of the new update. Apart from a new pet and a new character, we are also going to have a new feature in the game that allow you to bring your teammates back to life. This feature appeared in many other battle royale titles such as Call of Duty: Warzone and Apex Legends.

This feature will only be available in Classic mode and not Ranked mode.

Here, we will explain how this revive feature work and how you can use it.

Free Fire OB26 new Revival Mechanism

Obviously, this feature will only available in Duo and Squad and you need to have 1 dead teammate.

There are 2 ways for you to revive your teammates.

Method 1

You need to find Revival Points on the map. These areas will be marked with a heart on the map. When you stand inside the area, you will be able to revive your dead teammate.

These areas will only appear after a few minutes into the game and there are quite a lot of them around the map.

You need to stand inside the area for 15 seconds to revive your teammate. The area will then turn blue and cannot be used for 1 minute.

Method 2

There is another way to revive your teammate, you will need to use an item called the RevivalCcard. You can revive one teammate for each Revival card.

So where can you get this Revival card item? This item will be available in the Vending Machine for 10 tokens, a feature Garena introduced in the last update.
