Free Fire's 2 recent major tournaments, the India Championship 2021 and the Asia Championship 2021 have been very successful. They both crossed 1 million peak viewers. Despite Winter Invitational being a minor tournament, its new concept would definitely attract viewers and gain further success.

Four Indian teams participated in the Asia Championship but weren't able to perform well. Team Elite finished 8th place while Desi Gamers, Total Gaming, and PVS Gaming couldn't qualify for the finals. Indian teams will definitely bounce back next year.

2. Free Fire Winter Invitational 2021 Teams

Unlike the usual Free Fire tournament, this time, Garena invites the top players from the country to become the captain and form their own team. Afterward, the newly formed squads will fight it out for the trophy. As this is the final tournament of the year, Garena probably thought they should mix it up a little.

It would be fascinating to see what team these captains would select. Furthermore, putting players from the same team head to head against each other would also be pretty exciting as well.

Below is a complete list of invited captains of Garena's Free Fire Winter Invitational 2021:

  1. Javaboy
  2. Iconic
  3. FozyAjay
  4. Killer
  5. Mafia

  7. PVS Gaming

1. FFPS Wild Card Day 1 Standings

In this round, 12 teams from the League Stage will have another chance to reach the Grand Finals.

Chemin Esports claimed the opening day of Wild Card, with two booyahs and 137 points in total. Desi Gamers is the only team in the top 3 without any booyah. However, they still came in 2nd with 125 points. The third spot belongs to PVS gaming with 118 points.

Overall, the first 4 teams in the top 6 are already doing well from the league stage. The last two spots in the top 6, Raven Esports and AFF Esports have shown considerable improvement since their league days. These two teams were almost eliminated before but managed to climb out of the hole and show their potential.

Despite being fan favorites, TSM FTX and Total Gaming continue to disappoint. They remain in the 8th and 10th spots, respectively. Free Fire India Championship 2021 Fall's Play-ins round has just ended. 12 teams played 6 matches to find out the 6 last slots for the tournament's Grand Finals. In this article, we are going to recap everything about Free Fire India Championship 2021 Fall Play-Ins, including standings, MVPs and more.

1. FFIC 2021 Fall Play-Ins Standings

PVS Gaming Esports completely dominated the 6 play-ins matches. They scored 2 booyahs with 56 kill points and 99 points total, 28 more than the runner-up Team Elite. The 3rd to 5th spots are fairly predictable, with TSM, Team Chaos and Aura Gaming Esports.

The final ticket was claimed by LR7 Esports, with only 1 point more than #7, Skylight Gaming. LR7 Esports rise to the top from the bottom of group A, narrowingly claiming the last ticket for the tournament. They played rather badly during the FFIC Fall 2021 league stage, with only 60 points after 6 matches.

final standings
The final standings of Free Fire India Champion 2021 Fall Play-ins.

UG Empire has one of the worst days ever, finishing last with only 7 kills and 25 points to their name. They were the 3rd team in their group.

2. FFIC 2021 Fall Play-Ins Recap

  • The first and fourth matches on Bermuda were both claimed by PVS Gaming, with 14 and 15 frags respectively. They seem to have practiced intensively on this map. PVS Yogi shined in both matches, beating Arrow Esports and Team Elite. PVS Gaming is the only team to win more than 1 booyah.
  • Team Chaos won the 2nd match on Purgatory with 9 kills. PVS, despite losing in the end, demonstrated excellent gameplay and earned 2nd place with 9 kills.
  • The third match played on Kalahari was claimed by Team Elite with 11 kills. They eliminated both PVS Gaming and From the Future in the final circle to win the match.
  • The fifth match was won by Trained to Kill, while the final match was won by Skylightz Gaming. Both teams missed out on qualifying for the finals by the slimmest of margins.

3. FFIC 2021 Fall Play-Ins MVPs

Unsurprisingly, PVS Yogi became the MVP of the Play-Ins with 20 kills and 8000 damage. Despite coming 2nd with only 14 kills to his name, Elite's Pahadi scored a whopping 8700 damage. 2 more members of PVS, Rohit and Ecoeco, also got into the MVP list with 13 and 12 kills respectively.

Free Fire Asia Championship has just been announced. It is going to be the replacement for World Series this year. Check this post to find out more.]]>

Garena recently announced the cancellation of Free Fire World Series 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Free Fire squads all over the world will once again miss their chance to participate in a truly international tournament. To fix this issue, Garena has announced Free Fire Asia Championship 2021, a tournament similar to the Continental Series, to replace the World Series 2021. In this article, we are going to list out everything you need to know about this tournament.

1 - Free Fire Asia Championship 2021 Schedule and Format

The event will start on November 20 and last for over a week, until November 28. It consists of only 2 stages: Play-ins and Finals. The Play-ins will be held on 20 and 21 November, followed by Finals on 28 November.

Free Fire Asia Championship 2021 will have a massive prize pool of 400k USD, one of the biggest Free Fire prize pools to date.

Free Fire Asia Championship 2021 poster

Format

31 teams from 7 regional leagues will participate in the tournament. Amongst them, 7 winners of various regional championships will be directly invited to the finals. Below is the list of tournaments that qualifies for a direct invitation. The India Championship is currently ongoing, with its League Stage recently concluded.

  • Vietnam Free Fire League
  • Indonesia Masters
  • Pro League Thailand
  • Summer Cup Taiwan
  • MCP Majors (Malaysia - Cambodia - Philippines)
  • India Championship
  • Pro League Pakistan

The other 24 teams will have to compete in 2-days Wild Card rounds for the last 5 slots. The Play-ins rounds will split 24 teams into 2 groups of 12 teams.

2 - Free Fire Asia Championship 2021 Qualified teams

31 teams from 9 Asian countries will take part in the competition:

  • India - 4 teams
  • Pakistan - 4 teams
  • Thailand - 5 teams
  • Vietnam - 5 teams
  • Indonesia - 5 teams
  • Taiwan - 4 teams
  • MCP (Malaysia, Cambodia, and the Philippines) - 4 teams

It is likely that Garena distributed the invites based on previous tournament records. Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam, the three strongest Free Fire countries, get 5 invites... while the rest of the regions get only 4. Only one squad, LGDS from Taiwan, has been confirmed for this tournament.

3 - What are the chances for India in this tournament?

After the recent ban of PUBG Mobile last year, the India Free Fire esports scene is growing stronger than ever. There are much more competitive teams now, with the current top being Blind Esports (formerly team Captain). The FFWS 2021 in Singapore attracted around 5.4 million live viewers at its peak, setting a new world record. The Hindi stream managed to reach 1.9 million peak viewers in the World Series, despite no Indian teams participating.

While it is unclear how many Indian teams would advance to the finals, past records indicate that at least one team should make the cut. There has always been at least one Indian team in the top 5 in previous tournaments. The top candidate of India will be decided on the Finals of the India Championship. The Play-ins are on 10 October, followed by the Finals on 17 October.

Day 2 of Free Fire Pro Series Snapdragon Conquest's final week is over. In this article, we are going to showcase everything you need to know about Free Fire Pro Series Week 3 Day 2, including overall standings, MVPs, and more.

1 - Free Fire Pro Series Week 3 Day 2: Overall standings

Top half

Team Elite has an amazing day, topping the chart with 45 kills and 79 points and claimed the third spot. This pushes TSG to 4th. Desi Gamers is coming back strong with 78 points, however, they only managed to rise to #9, over 20 points short of directly advancing. Blind Esports and 4 Unknown are going steady as ever, with the same lead over the rest of the teams.

The rest of the top 6 remains the same - in fact, they are actually leaving the rest of the teams behind, with LVL Iconic having 18 more points than the #7 spot. There is only one day left. It is uncertain if PVS gaming or Evil Army could surpass that lead unless one of the top teams screwed up hard in the final day.

Bottom half

Fan-favorite Total Gaming had a bad day, scoring only 19 points. They dropped to 16th... however, the chance for them to get eliminated is super low, with a 50 points difference to the #19 team. The #7 to #18 would have another chance in the play-ins round... while the bottom 6 are eliminated.

Not much changed amongst the bottom 6 of the tournament. While they are named teams that have participated in recent tournaments, the roster of FFPS is just too high-level.

While Blind Esports didn't have a great day, the leads they gathered in previous days are still too much for any other team to surpass. Currently, they are in first place with 575 points. 4 Unknown narrowed the lead a little, with 499 points in second place, followed by TSG Army in the third position.

Team Elite pushed Head Hunters and LVL Iconic down to fifth and sixth place, respectively, with Evil Army out of the top 6. Total Gaming is mounting a comeback with a 10th place finish.

Overall, the race for the top 2 spots is more or less over. However, the #3 to #9 are relatively close together in points, which means the last two days are going to be heated.

Bottom half
