Red Dead Redemption 2 is a masterpiece of a game, with an incredible campaign that offers one of the most immersive and captivating storytelling experiences of any game in recent memory. The game is stunningly beautiful, with an enormous world that is incredibly detailed, and packed with content.

The gameplay is also fantastic, with tight controls and a variety of activities to engage in. The game's open-world design allows for a great deal of exploration and freedom, with plenty of side missions and activities to keep players engaged for hours on end.

4. Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales

Spider-Man: Miles Morales is definitely a great superhero game and it does a lot to improve on its predecessor in terms of combat and traversal. It never really gets old to web-sling through an accurate depiction of New York City. The story and gameplay were enjoyable enough for me to at least want a gameplay session in every day. The story had likable characters and not one really stood out to me as a bad character. The graphics are amazing and as expected.

However, the game is pretty much just an expansion of the original Spider-Man and is very short.

5. Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade

Everything in the game that's an adaptation of the original FF7 I love. It gave me major nostalgia vibes to walk through gorgeously rendered versions of FF7's environments. The combat is much more engaging - no more watching a tv show on the side while I button-mash another random encounter.

Many of the big story moments still hit and I found even more to love in the characters based on their performances going beyond text boxes and blocky animations. Even the music is just top-notch. The OST will be a mainstay in my playlist for years. It feels like I'm seeing the old game with fresh eyes and remembering why it made such an impact.

6. Atomic Heart

Atomic Heart is what you'd call a AA game - unlike a modern AAA game that tries to incorporate tons of elements into a single title, Atomic Heart maintains a narrower focus that allows it to refine its main mechanics. The result is a strange, endearing, and mostly well-made atompunk FPS with RPG and exploration elements. Some aspects are clunkier than others, but the game generally succeeds in what it sets out to accomplish.

Its exceptional visuals/art direction features meticulously-designed environments consistently, despite the world’s large scale and high location density.

7. Cyberpunk 2077

The combat in Cyberpunk 2077 is both thrilling and challenging. Whether you prefer to go in guns blazing or take a more tactical approach, the game offers a range of weapons and upgrades that allow you to customize your play style. Resident Evil 8 is a more action-oriented game after its direct predecessor firmly returned the series back to its survival horror roots, but fortunately, it doesn't overindulge in action schlock.

This is still a very spooky, very tense Resident Evil that maintains an excellent balance between frantic combat encounters and quieter moments of exploration, set in often visually stunning environments that are excellently designed and featuring some of the best and most charismatic antagonists I have seen in any media in a while.

10. Elden Ring

The open world is stunning and incredibly diverse in its variety of visuals when it comes to areas and their themes. Not to mention that the map is absolutely huge. The more you traverse the world from zone to zone you can't help but be awed by something new, there's just always something new: a new piece of art, new architecture, a new monster.

The monster diversity is one thing, even tho it is very important but what stuns me the most is really the variety in the details of the world itself. You can't help but simply stop at times staring at an entrance to the castle or a statue beside a church or at the edge of a mountain.

David Martinez

As a drink of his name exists in the Afterlife, it is suggested that David would have died as a legendary edgerunner before the events of Cyberpunk 2077.

Lucy

Lucy is a mysterious Netrunner from Night City. She is quite introverted and doesn't like to talk much about her past. Despite her innocent appearance, she won't hesitate to take a life in a heartbeat if she gets really angry. Lucy considers Night City a prison, and dreams of one day leaving it for the Moon.

Lucy is part of a mercenary group led by Maine. One of its members, a netrunner by the name of Kiwi, is mentoring her.

Cyberpunk 2077 Main Mission List

Cyberpunk 2077 has three main Acts. Each Act has a number of missions.

Prologue Missions & Life Path/Origin Quests

There are three Life path quests, namely The Nomad, The Street Kid, and The Corpo. There are two other prologue missions named Practice Makes Perfect and the Rescue. Three life path quests of Cyberpunk 2077 dictate the background of the main character V in this game. They are also three stages of her life since she was still in the Nomad clan.

V used to live in a Nomad family and roam around the Night City - the main location of this game. After this life path job, you also do the Gigs and some side jobs. Then, the Street Kid takes place in the later stage of her life when she lived as street kids in the Night City. The last life path mission happened when she started to co-operate with the Arasaka corporation.

Act 1 Main Jobs

Act 1 of the game has five main jobs, including The Ripperdoc, The Ride, The Information, The Pickup, and The Heist. Love Like Fire is an Interlude quest unlocked when you complete all Act 1 main jobs and move to Act 2. This Act begins when the main character V first visits her flat after rescuing the net-runner Sandra Dorsett from the Scavengers.

V's flat is a rental apartment on the 8th floor of the Mega building H10 in the Little China sub-district in Night City. All these main quests of Act 1 are also limited in Watson District where her apartment is located. You will receive the Ripperdoc and the Ride quests from Jackie Welles. Then, the three other quests are given by Dexter DeShawn.

Act 2 Main Jobs

Act 2 has more missions than Act 1. There are up to eighteen main quests in this act. However, the game developers divided them into some paths base on the quest givers. Check out the full Cyberpunk 2077 mission list of Act 2 below.

• Playing for Time is the opening quest of this Act given by Goro Takemura. You will do this quest in multiple places in the Badlands district.
• Four main missions given by Evelyn Parker are Automatic Love, The Space in Between, Disasterpiece, and Double Life.
• There are three quests you will get from Soulkiller, including Map Tann Pèlen; I Walk the Line; and Transmission.

• The next quest, Never Fade Away, is given by Johnny Silverhand. He is also the quest giver of Tapeworm, the final main job in Act 2 after you have completed all Act 2 main quests.
• Anders Hellman will give you three next quests, including Ghost Town, Lightning Breaks, and Life During Wartime.
• Apart from the opening quest of Act 2, Goro Takemura also gives you the four next main jobs, namely Down on the Street, Gimme Danger, Play It Safe, and Search and Destroy.

These are all main quests in Act II of Cyberpunk 2077. There is no Interlude quest like in between Act 1 and Act 2.

Act 3 Main Quests

Act 3 is also a long act although it has fewer missions than Act 2. This ending quest has different ending missions for different characters. Here are all the main jobs of Act 3.

• Nocturne OP55N1 and Don't Fear the Reaper are two main jobs for all Cyberpunk 2077 players. While the Nocturne OP55N1 is the opening quest of Act 3, Don't Fear the Reaper is the ending quest of this act despite your ending choice.

• Arasaka's Ending: You need to complete three main jobs of this ending, including the Last Caress, Totalimmortal, and Where Is My Mind?
• Panam's Ending: This ending has four main jobs for you to complete, including the quest We Gotta Live Together, Forward To Death Knockin' On, Belly Of The Beast, and All Along The Watchtower.

2. Deus Ex (2000)

Taking the whole dystopian cybernetic future thing a little more lightly, Jazzpunk is a comedy/puzzle/exploration game that oozes unique style, design and humour.

While the title itself may be slightly more retro-futuristic than cyberpunk, there’s certainly a reasonable amount of overlap between the genres. And, besides, Jazzpunk is too unique an experience to miss.

The player takes on the role of Polyblank who finds themselves mailed to an espionage agency, where they take on a number of hilarious missions.

5. Gunpoint (2013)

Another unique take on the cyberpunk scene, Gunpoint puts you in the shoes of freelance spy Richard Conway who is tasked with infiltrating buildings to fulfil assignments. Between sneaking past guards, hacking security systems, deploying techy gadgets and… jumping very far… Gunpoint nestles itself neatly into the genre of puzzle-platformer. However with an incredibly clean style and unique mechanics, it is a must play for lovers of indie titles.

6. Katana Zero (2019)

In a similar breed to rage games such as Hotline Miami or Ape Out, Katana Zero is a side scrolling 2D action platformer where one hit equals death—for both you and your enemies.

Taking on the role of a katana-wielding (duh) assassin, the player is tasked with completing various assassination missions provided by a notably shady psychiatrist. The psychiatrist also provides the player with “Chronos”, a drug allowing you to slow down time—perfect for slicing and dicing up foes.

While this game can be punishingly hard at times, its style, quick replays and satisfying aesthetic make it a fantastic successor to Hotline Miami.

7. Ghostrunner (2020)

There is definitely an obsession that fiction has with a technological future and swords—specifically Katanas. But that’s a discussion for another day. Ghostrunner takes the ideologies of Katana Zero and ports them into a phrenetic 3^rd dimension, turning up the options, fluidity and difficulty in the process.

The feelings of wall-riding, head-slicing flow achieved in this asio-futuristic work are nearly unmatched—but, that said, it may take some commitment to become the truly competent assassin you see in the previews.

8. Mirror’s Edge (2008)

A clear inspiration of Ghostrunner is the legendary Mirror’s Edge. Before those HD graphics-lovers turn away in disgust at this game quickly approach its 15^th year, take a second look. Despite its age, Mirror’s Edge still looks and plays as if it were released in the last few years.

The game places you in the running shoes of Faith, seeing you run around a brightly-coloured dystopian city in first person. The unique approach of this title still stands out as relatively experimental and unique today, making it a total must play for anyone up for some adrenaline-fuelled free-running.

9. Cloudpunk (2020)

For lovers of Blade Runner, flying cars and everything about a neon cityscape, Cloudpunk may just be the one for you. Placing you in the driver’s seat of a HOVA flying car, collecting and delivering packages, Cloudpunk is an incredibly unique vision that would only ever have been brought to the world by an indie studio.

Beyond flying around the wonderfully bleak world, the player can occasionally exit the vehicle to explore on foot, while also influencing the world through player choice and customisation.

10. Low-Fi (Unreleased, Dev builds available)

If Cloudpunk sounded immersive, then Low-Fi is a whole other dimension. Created in jaw-dropping VR, Low-Fi is a massive open-world sandbox adventure with action elements. It places its focus on exploration and non-linear character driven story, and by doing so it creates perhaps one of the most stunningly realised cyberpunk worlds ever brought to gaming.

While the title has been in development for a long time, with no signs of a secure release date, development builds are available through itch.io, allowing players to get a taste of what’s to come.

Cyberpunk worlds offer players a lot to dive into, there are countless different virtual worlds out there to explore on your own or, even better, with friends.

1 - Red Dead Redemption 2

This is pretty much the best western game on PC currently - a worthy sequel to the original RDR. The best part about RDR 2 is its insane level of detail in every part of the world, depicting a clear and true picture of the historical American West.

The world feels alive, with characters and wildlife go about their business regardless of your involvement. The campaign lasts for a whopping 70 hours... and after you completed it, there's also the multiplayer component Red Dead Online for fans of the gameplay.

2 - Mafia 2

The peak of the Mafia franchise - you would step into the shoes of former soldier Vito Scaletta, who joined the mob after returning from war. The best part of the game is the settings - you would get to immerse yourself in the Mafia Era of America. The entire story is immaculately produced with plenty of drama to keep you speeding through the chapters.

The gameplay is fairly decent despite a pretty wonky cover system. While driving feels less responsive than GTA 5, it is never boring when you have to drive from A to B... as the world is densely packed with content.

3 - Sleeping Dogs

If you are bored with the usual "American" setting, Sleeping Dogs would be a breath of fresh air. It is a clone of GTA sets in Hong Kong. In the course of the game, you would explore the criminal underworld in the far eastern territory as an undercover cop.

The level of details in the game is unreal - from the many landmarks to the Cantonese slang spoken by street food vendors... You would feel like a resident of that certain place for real. The combat is fairly decent, with a bigger focus on melee fights.

4 - Yakuza Kiwami

Another entry of the far East - this time we visit the criminal underworld of Japan instead of China, where the Japanese Mafia "Yakuza" rule supreme. Yakuza Kiwami tells the story of Kazuma Kiryu... who takes the blame for a murder he never did. Step into Kiryu's shoes as he returns from prison to a changing world.

Yakuza is also a crime epic - you would get to explore every nook and cranny of the fictional city of Kamurocho over the course of the series. The combat in this game is mostly melee-based - the franchise is known for its brutal fistfights.

5 - La Noire

Unlike these 4 games above, La Noire would put you into the shoes of a cop instead of a criminal. However, there's another twist - the protagonist Cole Phelps is not a modern cop... he is a detective in the city of Los Angeles during the Golden Age of Hollywood (1940s -1950s).

If you have seen the classic detective movies and enjoyed them - this game would definitely give you a unique experience. While you’ll be playing on the side of the good guys, the lines between right and wrong are constantly blurred, especially as you start investigating vice and arson cases.

List of Cyberpunk 2077 endings

The choice is made after talking to Hanako at Embers restaurant and come back to Victor's clinic. You would then have a conversation with Misty and choose the ending during it.

Main Ending 1: V allies with Arasaka

This is the default ending that you can choose without having to do any other side quests. V would accept Hanako's proposal and do what she asks. V would still perish later, in 2 different ways.

Main Ending 2: V commits suicide

Another ending that you can pick without any prior preparation at all. This is the worst ending - after meeting with Misty, V can just destroy the pills, the only thing that prevents him from dying immediately. This ending has no additional scenes or rewards whatsoever.

Main Ending 3: V leaves Night City with Nomads but without Johnny

This ending can be unlocked if you have completed all side quests from Panam and Rogue... or meet the requirements for the secret endings. V would join the Nomads and leave the City while Johnny remains in Cyberspace.

Main Ending 4: V stays in Night City without Johnny

This has the same requirements as ending 3, but V chooses to stay in the city while leaving Johnny in Cyberspace.

Main Ending 5: V gives his body to Johnny and stays in Cyberspace

This also has the same requirements as ending 3 but in this ending, V chooses to give Johnny his body and stay in Cyberspace.

Hidden ending: Attack the Arasaka Tower alone

To unlock this ending, you would need the above requirements and wait a few minutes without making a decision after talking to Misty. Johnny would talk to you and share his plan of raiding Arasaka Tower alone without any support.

These are the steps needed for the hidden ending to trigger:

• "Think you and Rogue should go."
• Wait about 5 minutes for Johnny to speak up about his plan.
• "Let's hear this plan."

If you accept, the ending would begin - remember to save right before getting to the roof if you are going this route, as this special ending does not allow any saves whatsoever. Winning all the fights is fairly challenging, but if you have completed all the quests, your character would be fairly overleveled and can cheese the fight easily.

If you die during the attack, you would see the bad hidden ending. If you survive, however, you would get to see the good version.
