This game is a masterpiece, that should be played by everyone. Use DLSS if you need better fps, cause they did a good job supporting that.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is a masterpiece of a game, with an incredible campaign that offers one of the most immersive and captivating storytelling experiences of any game in recent memory. The game is stunningly beautiful, with an enormous world that is incredibly detailed, and packed with content.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales is definitely a great superhero game and it does a lot to improve on its predecessor in terms of combat and traversal. It never really gets old to web-sling through an accurate depiction of New York City. The story and gameplay were enjoyable enough for me to at least want a gameplay session in every day. The story had likable characters and not one really stood out to me as a bad character. The graphics are amazing and as expected.

However, the game is pretty much just an expansion of the original Spider-Man and is very short.

5. Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade

Everything in the game that's an adaptation of the original FF7 I love. It gave me major nostalgia vibes to walk through gorgeously rendered versions of FF7's environments. The combat is much more engaging - no more watching a tv show on the side while I button-mash another random encounter.

Many of the big story moments still hit and I found even more to love in the characters based on their performances going beyond text boxes and blocky animations. Even the music is just top-notch. The OST will be a mainstay in my playlist for years. It feels like I'm seeing the old game with fresh eyes and remembering why it made such an impact.

6. Atomic Heart

Atomic Heart is what you'd call a AA game - unlike a modern AAA game that tries to incorporate tons of elements into a single title, Atomic Heart maintains a narrower focus that allows it to refine its main mechanics. The result is a strange, endearing, and mostly well-made atompunk FPS with RPG and exploration elements. Some aspects are clunkier than others, but the game generally succeeds in what it sets out to accomplish.

This is still a very spooky, very tense Resident Evil that maintains an excellent balance between frantic combat encounters and quieter moments of exploration, set in often visually stunning environments that are excellently designed and featuring some of the best and most charismatic antagonists I have seen in any media in a while.

The open world is stunning and incredibly diverse in its variety of visuals when it comes to areas and their themes. Not to mention that the map is absolutely huge. The more you traverse the world from zone to zone you can't help but be awed by something new, there's just always something new: a new piece of art, new architecture, a new monster.

The monster diversity is one thing, even tho it is very important but what stuns me the most is really the variety in the details of the world itself. You can't help but simply stop at times staring at an entrance to the castle or a statue beside a church or at the edge of a mountain.

For example, the Black Cat for Spidey cleared the whole screen from the villains, and Venom had only one enemy. There were little hidden areas, too, so Maximum Carnage was the first game many people wanted to explore.

Spider-Man (2000)

Spider-Man from Neversoft Studios, released in August 2000, was the first game about a friendly neighbor entirely in three dimensions. In the story, Spider-Man is accused of a crime he didn't commit, and he has to prove his innocence by rushing to find the actual attacker.

The moves on the web here are pretty modest and run at the same speed. It was their first appearance in 3D, and it looked very cool at the time. The battles don't shine with the variety either: hand, foot, and web throwing. Today such an arsenal would look very, very poor, but back then, almost twenty years ago, it was more than enough for even the pickiest gamers. Enemies could be entangled in a web, twisted into a giant ball, and launched at the villain, quickly weave a shield and, for sweets, gloves. Boss battles were excellent, except perhaps the one in the finale. A lot of it frayed children's nerves.

With all its shortcomings (from the current point of view), for many thousands of children, the game served as a guide to the beautiful world of Spider-Man, his enormous power, and a tremendous responsibility.

Spider-Man 2: Enter Electro (2001)

Spider-Man 2: Enter Electro was the sequel to the Spider-Man game released the year before. The plot is connected with the Electro invasion that started to make outrage in New York. However, the list of enemies is not limited to this villain: Spider-Man will have to face other enemies, such as the Shocker and the Lizard.

The sequel offered some pretty fun beat-'em-up-style scuffles, flying around the city on a web, and boss fights. The gameplay was engaging, but critics complained about unnecessary gameplay mechanics and monotonous NPC lines. Overall, Spider-Man 2: Enter Electro is a product of its time and is only of collectible interest now.

Spider-Man: The Movie (2002)

Treyarch Studios worked on this game and released it in 2002. The basic plot follows the canvas of the first Sam Raimi movie but is stretched by bits and pieces added by the developers. It looks like a more realistic version of Spider-Man (from 2000) with very similar mechanics.

These mechanics haven't changed too much, except for adding combos. There are about twenty of them, but as is usually the case, the players used the five most effective ones. Flying the web here is the same as in the previous game, but most of the missions take place in confined spaces, so there's not much room to run wild.

Spider-Man: The Movie's voiceover is its blessing and its curse. The game begins with a tutorial, voiced by the excellent Bruce Campbell from Raimi's "The Evil Dead. His lines certainly don't seem as funny now as they did sixteen years ago, but the same can be said of many other games in the franchise. Tobey Maguire and Willem Defoe (Spidey and Goblin, respectively) also return to their roles. That said, the latter is divine in the game. Closing your eyes and listening to his voice, you can hardly tell the difference between the movie and the game; so good is Defoe. At the same time, Maguire showed himself from the opposite side. The whole impression is that he read his lines in the breaks on other, much more critical projects. He lacks sincerity, and you can tell that after just a few phrases.

Spider-Man 2 (2004)

A game that has been compared to everything that followed since its release. It was released in 2004, developed by Treyarch Studios, and its plot more or less followed that of the movie of the same name, with the addition of cameos by some other villains from the Spider-Man universe.

The very essence of this game was flying on the web, which at the time could confidently be called a masterpiece. And the pumpable jerks and jumps are still used in new games about Spider-Man. That said, the game is sadly not perfect. But many online casino games have the theme of the title Spider-Man 2, which makes this game a classic.

Ultimate Spider-Man (2005)

Another franchise game by Treyarch hit store shelves in the fall of 2005. The development manager and screenwriter were Brian Michael Bendis, former author of the Ultimate Spider-Man comics, among other things. The plot, in this case, revolves around Peter Parker and Eddie Brock.

Flying the web isn't too different from the other games, except it looks a little slower. They are "cartoonish" in a good way but could have been done better. For example, during the flight, there is no way to gain height except by pressing the button specially allocated for climbing up the web. And that's just a shame because the game map is wonderfully suited to swift flight. Comic stylistics permeates the entire game, right down to the "sound" of the loud noises in the cutscenes, and Sean Marquette, who voiced Peter/Spider, did his job with all ten points ten. One of the unique features of Ultimate Spider-Man is the ability to play as Venom, who has his tricks like powerful jumps or tossing cars.

The combat system boils down to the old-school way of poking and kicking your enemies or throwing spider webs at them. The problem lies in the lack of an evasion button. The spider can bounce off walls just fine, but this kind of thing is sorely lacking in combat. That said, it should be noted that Ultimate Spider-Man has one of the best renderings of Spidey climbing walls. Definitely one of the best games in the franchise!

The new addition has opened up new possibilities and hints of an upcoming Spider-Verse.

Rumors have surfaced around a Spider-Verse film and Fandom Wire says that this may turn out true.

However, it’s no hard to understand if you feel skeptical about the announcement as it could be a very important team-up. On the other hand, though, Fandom Wire has assured Spier-Man fans of their trustworthiness considering that they have released correct leaks on major announcements in the past.

The new rumor has been stirring up internet users and many have reacted to the leak.

Fandom Wire posted that the presence of Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire won’t be limited to a cameo but the pair may even play a vital role in the upcoming of the film.

According to the post, a source familiar with the matter has confirmed that Sony signed with Garfield and Maguire to assist Spider-Man.

“A Sony source closely involved with Spider-Man 3 has confirmed that both Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield have signed on to reprise their respective Spider-Man roles next to Tom Holland’s Peter Parker.”

“The film will in-fact create the first live-action Spider-Verse. Both Maguire and Garfield will appear in Tom Holland’s universe during the final act to help defeat all of the Spider-Men’s combined foes.”

“This will not just be a post-credits cameo scene. It sounds more like an Endgame reveal with Tom Holland’s Peter Parker facing MANY Spider-Man villains from across Sony’s Spider-Man movies, along with some new ones. Maguire’s Spider-Man and Garfield’s Spider-Man will join Holland’s universe to help him defeat them.”

Tobey Maguire is considered the ‘OG Spider-Man’ that had portrayed Peter Parker in Sam Raimi’s series, then Andrew Garfield portrayed a younger Psider-Man in The Amazing Spier-Man series.

Currently, the Spider-Man of MCU is played by Tom Holland, who will appear in next year’s sequel titled Spider-Man: Far from Home.

Spider-Man and Deadpool Will Be a Match Made in Marvel Heaven

If all the predictions of this new information come true, Deadpool and Spider-Man will almost certainly have a very different relationship than the one Peter Parker had with Iron Man/Tony Stark or the one we will see soon with Doctor Strange. After all, those two act as mentors to Spidey to make him a better hero.

On the other hand, if the sources on Deadpool and Spider-Man together are verified, they will probably be more like Star-Lord and Rocket. It is likely they will argue a lot and even face off each other to see who is the best hero among them. But in the most difficult moments, they will not hesitate to work together and defeat whatever adversary is put in front of them.

Spider-Man 3 (2021), which will be featuring the presence of Doctor Strange and Electro, does not seem to be the Marvel movie where we will see Deadpool. Ever since Spider-Man joined the MCU, people have been campaigning for Tom Holland's Spider-Man and Tom Hardy's Venom to clash, as these two characters are bitter rivals in comics. With the newly signed licensing deal, this might actually become a reality. Tom Hardy seems to be in favor of this idea - in fact, he might have hinted about a potential crossover in one of his recent media post.

Tom Hardy, the actor that plays Venom, often post contents related to the characters on his social media... which leads to the guy sometimes accidentally reveal something he shouldn't have. A recent post from his Instagram page showed a scene in which Venom apparently eating Spider-Man. While the post has since then been removed, people have caught it in screenshots and posted it to Twitter. While this does not really confirm anything, it is really suspicious that Tom Hardy would post the image just to delete it later. One thing that can be said about the image is that it kinda sums up the relationship between Eddie Brock's Venom and Spider-Man: they are definitely bitter rivals and Brock would definitely love to eat him alive.

The possibility for a crossover has been discussed even before Venom released back in 2018. A crossover with one of the most famous characters in comic books would definitely boost Venom up, however, people don't really expect Venom to be that brutal, as the version Tom Hardy played is the much tamer antihero Agent Venom.

There is no way to know when the two characters would meet up - but the upcoming showdown against Carnage is definitely a great chance. Venom 2 is going to be named "Let there be Carnage" - with the main villain being the Symbiote Carnage, an offspring of Venom. This guy is one of the most brutal and disgusting characters in Marvel comics, with the host being an escaped serial killer. In the movie, there's a chance that Venom would team up with Spider-Man to fight against Carnage.

Spider-Man director Sam Raimi has recently confirmed that he will take on the upcoming Marvel movie Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. The movie is considered as a sequel of Doctor Strange (2016) starring Benedict Cumberbatch as the leading role.

In an interview with Coming Soon, the director of Spider-Man trilogy unveiled his involvement in the new project of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He also referred to a coincidental reference to Doctor Strange’s character in Spider-Man 2. Before MCU’s Iron Man and blockbusters like Blade and X-Men became hot, Spider-Man had been known as a top-world famous comic book movie of the 21^st century.

There was a dialogue in the 2004 superhero film mentioning another Marvel hero by chance. In a scene, J Jonah Jameson (J.K. Simmons) and Ted Hoffman (Ted Raimi) were discussing what the supervillain Otto Octavius’s moniker should be, and “Doctor Strange” was referred. However, it was dismissed immediately because Jameson noted this name was taken. This detail seems to imply the superhero Doctor Strange.

Also in the interview, Raimi expressed his passion for the time stone keeper.

"I loved Doctor Strange as a kid, but he was always after Spider-Man and Batman for me, he was probably at number five for me of great comic book characters."

He further said,

"It was really funny to me that coincidentally that line was in the movie. I gotta say I wish we had the foresight to know that I was going to be involved in the project.”

The MCU wouldn’t exist if there were no Spider-Man trilogy directed by Sam Raimi. Sony Pictures has kept changing the release dates of a series of its blockbusters in the following time due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead of October this year, the publisher is planning to release the sequel of Venom (2018) in Summer 2021.

There has been no specific opening day of Venom 2. However, Sony Pictures has just revealed the official title of this movie as Venom: Let There Be Carnage. The video directly incriminates Spider-Man for the Elemental attacks and reveals his secret identity.

It is expected that in the next Spider-Man movie, Peter Parker would have to become a runaway fugitive, going against the law and Jonah Jameson's smearing to prove himself not guilty. Luckily, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there are two Superhero Lawyers that can deal with this case: Daredevil / Matt Murdock and She-Hulk / Jennifer Walters. Both have crossed paths with Spidey before in the comics - and it is very likely that one of them would be a part of the next Spider-Man movie.

1 - Would Daredevil be the prosecutor when Peter Parker sue Jonah Jameson?

Amongst all the shows released by Marvel to date, Daredevil is probably amongst the most popular. Its 2 seasons in 2015 and 2018 have been super successful amongst fans, surpass other marvel shows like Agent of Shield or Jessica Jones. However, after his successful debut, Marvel is still rather twitchy about introducing Charlie Cox's character into the main universe, due to the hyper-violence nature of the show.

Matt Murdock is probably the one character who can sympathize with Spider-Man's flight the most, as he is also torn between his desire to become Daredevil full time and his career as a lawyer. If Daredevil is going to be a part of Spider-Man, a season 3 for the show would pretty much be in the bag.

2 - She-Hulk is another possibility as well

She-Hulk is Bruce Banner's cousin, Jennifer Walters. After getting mortally injured, Bruce Banner saved her by infecting her body with his own gamma radiation cell. She would then become She-Hulk, working as both a superhero and a lawyer. With the She-Hulk show being in the work at Marvel, this is not impossible, as an appearance in a mainline MCU movie would definitely be able to serve as a catalyst for her own TV series to take off.

This is definitely going to be the more attractive option that Marvel might take, as they have been trying to introduce more and more female superheroines into the MCU.

3 - Spider-Man might have to defend himself

While adding more famous characters to create a crossover might sound exciting - it is just not possible in a lot of situations. With Sony, the one who holds the right of Spider-Man participated in the production process, everything must work well based on their standards.

Adaptation for Daredevil and She-Hulk is also not an easy task, as they are relatively less famous characters in the MCU and might need some further setup prior. An experienced director is required if Marvel wants to go into this route.

Insomniac's Spider-Man 2018 for the PS4 was widely acknowledged as one of the biggest ever exclusives on the console and one of the best superheroes video games ever made. Considering the game's financial success, it is pretty much a given that a sequel is on the works. After a secret meeting of Insomniac took place on Apr 17, a massive new leak has been revealed, shedding a light into what the game would bring to the table.

Like every other video game leaks, fans should take this with a grain of salt. According to the leaker, the main story of Spider-Man 2 would be about the Venom Symbiote and its creation at an OsCorp lab. It would initially be bonded with Harry Osborne to cure his terminal illness before fusing with Peter Parker to give his classic Black Suit from the movie and comics. Players would be able to swap into the Symbiote Suit whenever they want, and each suit available in-game would have their own Black Version.

A lot of classic and modern Spider-Man suits would be available in-game, including the advanced Avenger suit and the Sam Raimi 2002 version. The symbiote suits would also change how Spider-Man's combat works, enabling a more aggressive set of moves. The symbiote would also have a separate skill tree for the player to level up.

The open world of Spider-Man 2 would have dynamic weather and misc missions that change based on the state of the map. Side quests would be bigger than the previous game - includes cameos from various Marvel Universe characters like Daredevil, Human Torch or Mysterio. There would be gameplay sections in which you can play as Miles Morales, the alternate Spider-Man as well. The interview allegedly ended with 3 DLC packs based on Morbius, Carnage, and Wraith.

On August 20th this year, both Sony and Disney announced that their partnership for Spider-Man in MCU had come to an end. This partnership came to an end because Disney wanted more profit from Spider-Man movies. At first, Disney had only gained 5% profit for both two first Spider-Man movies in MCU (Disney contributed 5% of the movie budget), but after Spider-Man: Far From Home, Disney wanted a fairer share for itself.

So the corporation proposed a 50-50 deal with Sony about the next Spider-Man movies in MCU (Disney would contribute 50% of the movie budget), but Disney still wished to keep all of its profit from merchandise sale.

Sony, of course, did not agree. At that point, everyone thought that there would be no more Spider-Man swinging around MCU anymore because both two corporations were extremely serious about this decision. But Tom Holland did not think so. Just like the Marvel character he stars, Tom Holland swung around Sony and Disney and paired these two corporations together, for the fans.

This UK actor began his work right after the D23 Expo of Disney. After showing up at this event of Disney and saying "I love you 3,000" to the fans (at this point the “divorce” announcement has been made, so all the fans thought this was a goodbye from Tom Holland), Tom Holland started seeing the chairman of Sony film Tom Rothman multiple times to beg him for another chance for Spider-Man in the MCU. This actor has even used the leverage he has with Sony film to negotiate with Tom Rothman (this actor also stars in Uncharted movie by Sony).

After having successfully convinced Tom Rothman, Tom Holland turned to the CEO of Disney Bob Iger. This man is one of the most powerful CEO in the entertainment industry, yet Tom Holland managed to meet him multiple times to persuade him about another chance for Spider-Man in MCU.

After showing to those two CEOs what the fans actually wanted and how much they wanted it, the two corporations decided to sit down for another round of negotiation. And this time, a deal has been agreed by both sides. According to the new deal, Disney will pay 25% of the movie budget for the third Spider-Man film in MCU (which will be officially published on July 16th, 2021), and this corporation will get 25% of the profit of that movie. This is a great deal for Disney because this corporation receives the full profit from the merchandise sale for Spider-Man character.

About Tom Holland, this UK actor is really happy with his success. Right after the announcement for a “re-marriage” between Disney and Sony being published, he has posted a small piece of footage of “The Wolf of Wallstreet” movie where Leonardo DiCaprio said “I’m not [expletive] leaving! The show goes on!” on his Instagram account.

This is surely a big win for all of us, so the negotiation work must have been extremely exhausting and hard for Tom Holland. This man has just shared that he would take a short break from Instagram before coming back with his future projects.

The PlayStation 4’s exclusive ‘Spider-Man’ is an overwhelmingly fun open world game to play. And until now, it has almost become a tradition for game developers working on open world projects to place easter eggs into the game.

For the uninitiated, easter eggs are little jokes and hidden messages within the game that players can only find when they explore the game thoroughly with a keen eye. There are plenty in Insomniac’s hit, from homages to Marvel characters like Daredevil or Iron Fist. To some ‘obscure’ characters from the comics that you might not even know or think of when you look at the easter eggs referring to them.

But from how popular Spider-Man is, most of you would think that all of the easter eggs had been discovered and all you need to do is turn to Google to get a complete list of what and where to look for?

Well, you’d be wrong.

Just a couple days earlier Elan Ruskin - Insomniac’s senior engine programmer - told everyone through Twitter about an easter egg that we had apparently missed.

Wandering around the city, you might stumble across some Orthodox Jewish NPCs (They are pretty hard to miss wearing the traditional ‘Kippah’ hat wear). Following them for a while and you would eventually find that they are no where to be found on Saturday in game. The thing is that Orthodox Jews do not go to work on Saturday because of Shabbat, a day dedicated entirely to resting in Judaism.

The game checks the system date whether it is Saturday at your place and put all ordinary commutes of Orthodox Jewish on hold for the real-life holiday.

For a game that’s already pretty detailed, it is highly amusing to see that there are even more that a community of millions had missed. It really makes us up and wonder what kind of secrets Insomniac still had in its masterpiece that we still know nothing about?

Stan Lee's cameo in superhero movies has become a tradition in Marvel's series and movies. Many of the fans wowed when seeing the footage of "the one that created it all" in the movie. Although it is a very small moment, only seconds but extremely valuable, leaving many memories and special in the heart of the viewer.

On the other hand, Sam Raimi, director of Spider-Man in 2002, Spider-Man 2, and Spider-Man 3 did not support Stan Lee 's appearance in Spider-Man.

Sam Raimi was accepted to be a director of Spider-Man in 1999 and Avi Arad (Marvel Head) proposed bringing Stan Lee into the film. Raimi claimed that Stan Lee was a talented man but he could not act.

Avi Arad said that they had made Stan Lee appear in the X-Men movie and they also wanted to portray the character in other films.

At that time Sam Raimi was just a director and when asked to put the writer in the movie, he must follow. He said, 'Fine, you want Shakespeare in the play, I'll put Shakespeare in the play.' However, Raimi later revealed that Stan Lee's appearance had become one of his favorite scenes in the film.

Sam Raimi was acquainted with Stan Lee in the early 90's when the creator contacted Raimi and said that he liked Darkman. Then Lee and Raimi go out to eat and talk about their cooperate. Then they both wrote a script to save Thor movie.

After that, they sent the script to Fox and they said "Absolutely not. Comic books don't make good movies.” Raimi narrated “This was in 1991."

As time passed, Stan Lee's cameo on all the Marvel movies has become something all the moviegoers are waiting for. Some people even said that "Without his (Stan Lee) cameo, a Marvel movie does not feel right anymore."

Although the game Insomniac's Spider-Man has its own way of interpreting Spider-Man’s widely known world, the game still has a deep entrenchment in Marvel’s massive universe. The game mentions many of the characters as well as cosmic entities that come from Marvel’s comics and even movies such as the Avengers, Damage Control, Crusher Hogan, and so on.

If you are a “comic-aholic” or maybe a huge fan of the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe), you can easily understand or even find out by yourself these hints and details. 1. Famous Landmarks

There are countless landmarks found in Manhattan’s scenes in Insomniac. A part of them is real, for instance, Madison Square Garden or the Empire State Building, while the rest are not. But to be fair, it’s not exactly a copy of the real Manhattan, it is, in fact, just a Marvel’s version of one of the most popular cities in real life. Since this place is one of Marvel’s biggest headquarters of superhero (and, of course, supervillain), there are numerous iconic locations appearing in the area that can hardly ever go unnoticed under Marvel fans’ eyes.

The first thing that would catch the players’ eyes probably is the Avengers Tower lying in the Upper East. But that’s not all. Located right in Midtown is the magnificent Wakanda Embassy; during the game, Peter Parker a.k.a Spider-Man will mention about King T’challa a.k.a Black Panther, Peter wonders whether or not T’challa got his Black Panther powers because a radioactive panther bit him. Should you go to Greenwich Village, you would find Dr. Strange’s home, also called the Sanctum Sanctorum, right where it’s supposed to be. And there’s still more, for instance, the Damage Control HQ, an organization established with the sole purpose of cleaning up what’s left of a superhero fight, against the supervillain of course. And also The Bar With No Name, which is basically a secret bar where the supervillain come to have some drinks and relax peacefully.

All kinds of Marvel landmarks are widely spread in Spider-Man. We only mention about the most noticeable as well as famous ones here, therefore, we highly recommend you to try and discover the rest of the game by yourself.

2. Mr. Phillip Chang

That’s not all, during the younger years of his life, Chang has a somewhat troubled life, he even got himself involved with a Chinese organization in the underworld.

After that, when his association with the criminals led to the tragic situation where his parents lost their lives, he finally decided to cut ties with all those underworld citizens. He, then, went to the US and applied to ESU college, which is also the place where he became friends with Peter Parker. But soon enough, the peace of his life was once again ruined when his impressive ability and technique in fighting was noticed by the Tiger’s Claw. The gang was looking forward to having him as their leader. Of course, after what happened to his family, particularly his parents, he would be the last one who wants to have any bit of involvement in another underworld gang. Chang turned down the offer which pissed the whole gang off. Long story short, this ended up with Chang rescued by Spidey from the hands of the Tiger’s Claw.

3. Otto's AIM Contract

When the grant committee stopped supporting them, along with the fact that Norman Osborn decided to cancel all of their resources, Otto asks for some help and starts funding his research with the money he just takes on. Up to this point of the game, the Marvel fans would be able to recognize immediately one founding partner of the research.

When you spend times to examine clearly the lab as well as some of the new types of equipment there, you may found the paperwork showing the details of the money provided by A.I.M or Advanced Idea Mechanics. Once you have gone through about half the game, you will come across a mysterious character who assigns you some challenging tasks consisting of fighting against dangerous criminals, defusing bombs and tracing automatic drones.

This character who is likely to be one of Spidey’s dangerous enemies in this game, in fact, no one other than the Taskmaster himself, a familiar villain who Spider-Man has to encounter occasionally in the comic books. Not only Spider-Man’s comics, but he also gets to appear in several other famous comic series such as The Avengers, Deadpool, Daredevil, and even more. Furthermore, those who enjoy fighting games may also find the skull full face mask of The Taskmaster since his name also mentioned in the character list of the famous game series Marvel vs. Capcom 3.

Once you have accomplished Taskmaster’s missions, you will be able to figure out something he possesses known as the “photographic reflexes”. Then she would upload the videos on YouTube and get money from it. To earn even more money from her work, she makes it clear that she will definitely have Spider-Man appear in her footage since she realizes how effective it is in drawing attention and increasing subscribers. It is also worth knowing that this character first appeared in 2008, a few years after YouTube was introduced, her behaving way is now much more relevant than back then.

6. Spider-Man 2 Reference

While experiencing through the second half, you will get to the point where Spider-Man has to find ways to stop a subway train traveling at high speed after defeating Mr. Negative. To Marvel fans, especially Spider-Man’s fans, his first try would be easily recognizable since he did the very same thing in Spider-Man 2. The game makers took a further step to make sure even those who’s never watched SM2 before can still figure out the connection by having Spidey say "That totally worked the first time!" when he fails, as the game intends to.

7. Backpack Collectibles

Throughout the whole game, you will come across a total of 55 backpacks spread in every corner of the game. These are not just random collectibles that help you enhance Spider-Man’s abilities. Actually, each and every one of them represents and gives you a bit of information about different aspects in his life as Peter Parker and also as Spider-Man as well as his history. For instance, you may be able to find the glasses Peter wore when he got bit by the spider that gave him his power, or even his web shooting device called Mk I.

One of the most trustworthy partner during the game is Yuri Watanabe. And just like any other character mentioned in this article, she appears in the comics, too. However, there’s a rumor that she has a far more intriguing version in the extended universe of this game which, unfortunately, Marvel hasn’t confirmed to be real or not. Long story short, in the game, Yuri acts as an NYPD officer and also Spidey’s supporter and partner, however, when the night comes, she becomes Wraith, a vigilante or a secret hero. She is actually not the first one who fight crimes under the name Wraith but fourth, but that’s another story and we will get into details in other articles. The reason why we mentioned about that is the game version of Yuri could likely be the Wraith. Let’s just wait and see what will happen.

9. The Black Cat

Like usual, you will encounter many side activities and one of those mainly require you to supervise a criminal, particularly a thief named Black Cat. The game will mention briefly about her history and relationship with Spider-Man. Originally, in the comic books, she plays quite a big role. At first, she was introduced as a supervillain of Spidey but they somehow ended up falling in love with one another. They had an on and off relationship for quite a long time, there were times that they fight side by side against criminals. Still, the end of this relationship came unavoidably when Spidey continued to be a hero whereas Black Cat went back to be a thief once again.

We can say without a doubt that Black Cat’s name is in Spider-Man’s most trustworthy partner's list. However, it is clearly shown in the game universe that the events of this game take place around the time that she shows signs of turning back into a thief. One may wonder if they are going to be a couple in the game version or not. Up to now, we can say nothing for sure. What we can actually say is that this side-mission is likely to be a teaser, a stepping stone in the plan to release the next game Spider-Man DLC, also called The Heist, in which Black Cat will potentially play a major role.

10. Dr. Morgan Michaels

During one of the main quest in the game, where you have to cease the "Devil's Breath" attack from happening, you will work with a biochemist from Oscorp Industries whose name is Dr. Morgan Michaels. He will probably not show you any other side of his personality but the fact that he does feel the sense of remorse for what he has done. But you can get to know him more clearly through his other version in the comic universe, where he was known by the name Morbius the Living Vampire.

As an extraordinary scientist, unfortunately, he had a really scarce blood disease he made every effort he could to cure himself through an experiment which combined the use of vampire bats with electroshocks. That method obviously didn’t work as he planned, more tragically, it resulted in him having a serious thirst for blood and being unable to stand sunlight. This affected him physiologically and turned him into an unstable shadow-dwelling creature. At first, he did have some fights with Spidey, but in the end, he turned out to be an anti-hero who seek criminals’ blood.

11. Those Spider-Suits!

Throughout the game, you will receive all kinds of suits. Some are the canon of the game’s main story, but most of them come exactly from comic books and the cinematic universe of Marvel. The most noticeable ones that we can mention here consist of the Stark Suit (Spider-Man: Homecoming), the Scarlet Spider (Clone Saga arc), and lastly, the Spirit Spider suit, which comes from one of many universes of the Spider-Man series where Spider-Man comes back from the dead and somehow earns powerful abilities.
