Similar to FGO, both the story and character designs in Bleach Brave Souls are based on novels written by the author of the series. If you want to know what happens next in Bleach or various side stories of the franchise, checking out BBS is a must.

Gameplay-wise, Memoria Freese is a turn based game in which you create your own tactical team with your favorite characters and engage enemies in classic JRPG style.

4. Dragon Balls Legends

If you are a fan of anime, you probably have heard of Dragon Balls. There have been many spin-off mobile games for this franchise, but Dragon Balls Legends is probably the best of the bunch. 8. Honkai Impact 3rd

Unlike the other anime games on Android devices, Honkai Impact started as a game and eventually get an anime adaptation. Its gameplay is a prototype version of Genshin Impact, miHoYo's world-famous game, with the main focus on ARPG elements. The two games are very similar overall - Honkai is one of the best games like Genshin Impact.

However, unlike Genshin Impact, Honkai is not an open world game. Honkai players explore various stages with monsters spawning periodically - it gets right to the action and skips the tedious exploration part. During battle, players may freely move their character around the battlefield and switch between their three deployed Valkyries to adapt to various enemy types. Coming from developer Crunchyroll Games, Mob Psycho 100: Psychic Battle is a new turn-based RPG that’s based on the first 2 seasons of the anime Mob Psycho 100. The series – which in turn was based on a 2012 manga – kicked off back in 2016 and has since then gained massive fame. The game, meanwhile, is now available for both Android and iOS. As is common for games using assets from popular franchises, Mob Psycho 100: Psychic Battle will reunite the players with plenty of characters from the show. At present, there are more than 80 characters that you can recruit to your team to bring into 5v5 battles. The original voice actors also return to reprise their respective roles here too, which hopefully will add to the authenticity of the game.

With such a sizable roster, most of your in-game time will be spent unlocking and upgrading various characters to create a team that suits your playstyle. Needless to say, each character will have their own abilities as well as special attacks. As you can see from the trailer, these attacks come with some awesome animated cutscenes too.

There are several systems for you to power up your team such as star upgrades, ability awakening, equipment, etc. – basically the usual stuff you often see from gacha RPGs. Multiplayer components, meanwhile, include challenging PvE raids, PvP fights, guild battles, and more.

If you find yourself getting tired from all the fighting, you can also take a break by participating in a wide variety of side activities such as school games, fishing competitions, or taking care of pets.

Mob Psycho 100: Psychic Battle is currently available on both Google Play and the App Store as a free-to-play game with IAPs.

AVM Lab has just launched an intriguing app called MomentSQ. It's kind of like an on-demand story platform with which users can enjoy various interactive stories at any time. The service is already available for iOS right now with an Android version set to come later. To kick off, it is offering a game based on Aggretsuko, a popular anime on Netflix.

The game is presented in the form of an instant message app, where you join a group chat with Retsuko – a red panda who loves death metal music – and all her friends. You will “chat” with them by picking from the various options that the game gives you.

Needless to say, different things you choose to say will lead to different outcomes, so basically it’s a decide-your-own-adventure type of game. Your ultimate goal is to build a good relationship with all the animals in the chat and become an important part of the group.

The first episode of Aggretsuko will be free, but subsequent ones after that – which will launch on a weekly basis – will require you to pay to play. It’s worth noting that you won’t directly be paying cash for these episodes. Instead, you need to purchase diamonds, MomentSQ’s premium currency, and then spend them to unlock the rest of the story.  Diamonds are offered in different bundles, ranging from £0.99 (Rs 90) for 10 diamonds to £48.99 (Rs 4500) for 650.

MomentSQ also plans to expand its library in the future with additional stories of different genres as well. These stories will be a mixture of spinoffs of established franchises as well as completely original ones too.

Back in June we reported on Fist of the North Star: Legends REVIVE when it was open for pre-registration, and now the game has finally arrived, marking the very first time there's been an English version of a game based on Fist of the North Star on mobile. You can download it right now from both Google Play and the App Store, but there are apparently some server issues going on at the moment, so it might be worth waiting for things to get sorted out first.

Anyway, similar to the vast majority of anime-based games on mobile, Legends REVIVE will be a turn-based battler in which you and your opponent take turns to choose the attack you want to perform. Still, timing does play a bigger part here compared to the traditional turn-based experience: If you can tap on the screen at the opportune moment, you will be able to unlock powerful secret techniques.

The story, meanwhile, will follow that of the original manga starting from the very beginning. As such, veteran fans are in for some heartwarming memory trips, while newcomers won't feel lost wondering who is who. The game also features a massive roster consisting of characters coming from both the Nanto and Hokuto schools, as well as tons of supporting characters. Of course, that means gacha will be a factor here, so expect some of them to be locked behind a paywall.

That is the main concern we have about this game: how far it’ll lean towards trying to get players to pay real cash. Nothing is more frustrating than when you find a title with incredibly fun gameplay yet cannot progress as the developer just want to squeeze out some money from your wallet. Hopefully, that won’t be the case here.

Fist of the North Star: Legends REVIVE is available right now on both Google Play and the App Store as a free-to-play game with IAPs included.

The famous Bandai Namco is preparing yet a new Sword Art Online (SAO) title for the mobile platform. This time, it will come with a ridiculous subtitle of Alicization Rising Steel.

The game was announced for the Japanese market earlier August. However, the company has confirmed that they will actually go global with this mobile title.

This upcoming title is a blend of the Sword Art Online theme and the fantasy role-playing elements on the mobile platform. In the game, you could take control of various characters like Asuna, Kirito, and many other famous figures in the series.

The original script, approved by the series' creator Reki Kawahara, will guide players to explore the SAO virtual world filled with enemies and spectacular environments.

With stories from the original SAO series combined with exclusive content, this new title will give the players a completely unique experience based on the storyline of Alic Alicization's story.

Pre-registration

Bandai Namco also announces that the game will be localized in French, Spanish and German, a first for the franchise, it seems. And if we could reach the number of 400 000 pre-registration we could receive a four-star character, the Alice Knight, when the game launches.

If you are interested in participating in the pre-registration campaign, you can do so on the game's official website. However, the game is not yet available on Google Play. This August has been a pretty big month for mobile games made based on popular anime series. Just last week we got the announcement of Attack On Titan Tactics as well as One Punch Man: Road to Hero. Now, a new game set in the Naruto universe titled Naruto X Boruto Ninja Tribes is joining the fray.

Made as a result of a partnership between developer Crunchyroll and publisher Bandai Namco, this is a team-based battle game in which players can form a team of 3 heroes to duke it out against one another across various iconic locations in the Naruto world. Check out its trailer below:

As you can probably tell from the title, Naruto X Boruto Ninja Tribes will feature characters from both Naruto and Boruto. Aside from the titular father-son duo, expect to be reunited with familiar faces such as Sasuke, Sakura, Sarada, and Mitsuki as well.

Not a lot of details about the gameplay is available just yet, but Crunchyroll has announced that it plans to show some footage at its own event in San Jose this Friday, so we will probably find out more then. From what we know so far, though, the game will include combination attacks that will be unique to each duo or trio, which is certainly an exciting prospect. We might get to see Naruto and Boruto join hands to unleash a giant Rasengan as in the anime, or the OG Team 7 trio teaming up for some awesome stuff. The possibilities are endless, but we’ll have to wait and see how many characters actually make it to the final game.

Naruto X Boruto Ninja Tribes will be available for both Android and iOS at launch, although no specific release date is confirmed at the moment. Of course, we will keep you updated as soon as there is more information, so don’t forget to stay tuned.

Just yesterday, we reported on the English trailer of Attack On Titan TACTICS – a base defense game based on Attack on Titan. Now, developer Oasis Games has also launched One Punch Man: Road To Hero on the App Store, continuing the trend of releasing mobile games based on popular anime series.

The game was originally announced back in June alongside a pre-registration campaign, which according to the developer attracted over 200,000 participants. Back then, though, the release date was listed as September 16^th, so the launch today came as somewhat of a surprise to it. Maybe that was only a placeholder date, or maybe Oasis wrapped up the game a bit earlier than expected. Whatever the case might be, One Punch Man: Road To Hero is now available on the App Store for iOS users, with an Android version promised to arrive in the near future. Back in May 2019, NetEase released its Japanese-inspired action shooting mobile game for the Southeast Asia market. Now, almost 2 months later, players from all over the world finally have a chance to experience the robotic world in Super Mecha Champions.

Originally developed by Neko Works and published by Sekai Project, Nekopara is a visual novel series with adult content. The plot of this series is pretty simple: players will have a normal life besides "Nekos" - basically catgirls - and can keep them as pets. Essentially, it's a cat paradise, but with nudity contents!

The series received so much attention from the community that it got an anime OVA for all ages. The adaptation launched on Steam on December 2017, and quickly found its own way to the list of top earners in Steam at that time. Felix Film even revealed that the studio is working on an anime series inspired by Nekopara.

Yostar Games first announced Nekoparaiten for smartphones through a tweet during Anime Expo. The official Twitter of the game also urges people to stay tuned, as further details are yet to come. All we've known so far is that Nekoparaiten will, obviously, follow its original series as a paradise full of catgirls. In addition, the developer revealed that there is an English version of the game coming in 2020.

Jump Force is a new fighting game from giant Japanese developer Bandai Namco. Recently, at Paris Games Week 2018, Bandai Namco announced that the game will launch on February 15, 2019, for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
