3. A Calendar With A Heart Mark

You can see a calendar with a heart mark on August 23. This is the reference to the Avengers #238 comic book, where Vision was revived and can interact with others through holographic form.

4. Stark Toaster Advertisement

One thing that can't be missing in a classic sitcom is the commercial break. The commercial in WandaVision is actually an easter egg to Wanda's real life. It was an advertisement for a Toaster named TravelMate 200 from Stark Industries.

Wanda found a helicopter toy in her front yard and it is colored just like the iron man suits. 8. Mind Stone Pattern

On the door of Vision's Cabinet of Mysteries, we can see the drawn picture of the Mind Stone, the stone that gave Vision his life.

9. Strucker Watch

Strucker refers to Wolfgang von Strucker, the one who made Wanda and QuickSilver's life a living hell by doing experiments on them. We can also see the logo of Hydra on the watch. The watch points to 2:42, which refers to the Avengers #242 comic book, where Vision restores his physical form and unite with Wanda.

10. The S.W.O.R.D. Beekeeper

He has to race with the time to come back Asgard in a bid to prevent the Ragnarok war led by Hela – this war is supposed to ruin the Asgard culture entirely. Also, Thor has a fierce fight against his old teammate – The Hulk.

Ever since Spider-Man joined the MCU, people have been campaigning for Tom Holland's Spider-Man and Tom Hardy's Venom to clash, as these two characters are bitter rivals in comics. With the newly signed licensing deal, this might actually become a reality. Tom Hardy seems to be in favor of this idea - in fact, he might have hinted about a potential crossover in one of his recent media post.

Tom Hardy, the actor that plays Venom, often post contents related to the characters on his social media... which leads to the guy sometimes accidentally reveal something he shouldn't have. A recent post from his Instagram page showed a scene in which Venom apparently eating Spider-Man. While the post has since then been removed, people have caught it in screenshots and posted it to Twitter. While this does not really confirm anything, it is really suspicious that Tom Hardy would post the image just to delete it later. One thing that can be said about the image is that it kinda sums up the relationship between Eddie Brock's Venom and Spider-Man: they are definitely bitter rivals and Brock would definitely love to eat him alive.

The possibility for a crossover has been discussed even before Venom released back in 2018. A crossover with one of the most famous characters in comic books would definitely boost Venom up, however, people don't really expect Venom to be that brutal, as the version Tom Hardy played is the much tamer antihero Agent Venom.

There is no way to know when the two characters would meet up - but the upcoming showdown against Carnage is definitely a great chance. Venom 2 is going to be named "Let there be Carnage" - with the main villain being the Symbiote Carnage, an offspring of Venom. This guy is one of the most brutal and disgusting characters in Marvel comics, with the host being an escaped serial killer. In the movie, there's a chance that Venom would team up with Spider-Man to fight against Carnage.

Spider-Man director Sam Raimi has recently confirmed that he will take on the upcoming Marvel movie Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. The movie is considered as a sequel of Doctor Strange (2016) starring Benedict Cumberbatch as the leading role.

In an interview with Coming Soon, the director of Spider-Man trilogy unveiled his involvement in the new project of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He also referred to a coincidental reference to Doctor Strange’s character in Spider-Man 2. Before MCU’s Iron Man and blockbusters like Blade and X-Men became hot, Spider-Man had been known as a top-world famous comic book movie of the 21^st century.

There was a dialogue in the 2004 superhero film mentioning another Marvel hero by chance. In a scene, J Jonah Jameson (J.K. Simmons) and Ted Hoffman (Ted Raimi) were discussing what the supervillain Otto Octavius’s moniker should be, and “Doctor Strange” was referred. However, it was dismissed immediately because Jameson noted this name was taken. This detail seems to imply the superhero Doctor Strange.

Also in the interview, Raimi expressed his passion for the time stone keeper.

"I loved Doctor Strange as a kid, but he was always after Spider-Man and Batman for me, he was probably at number five for me of great comic book characters."

He further said,

"It was really funny to me that coincidentally that line was in the movie. I gotta say I wish we had the foresight to know that I was going to be involved in the project.”

The MCU wouldn’t exist if there were no Spider-Man trilogy directed by Sam Raimi. Thanks to the series, Hollywood has seen the great potentials of superheroes in addition to Batman and Superman, and as a result, both Marvel and DC have lots of shared universes via films and TVs. In the future, Marvel is going to exploit other superheroes in the MCU, including some characters in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Sony Pictures has kept changing the release dates of a series of its blockbusters in the following time due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead of October this year, the publisher is planning to release the sequel of Venom (2018) in Summer 2021.

There has been no specific opening day of Venom 2. However, Sony Pictures has just revealed the official title of this movie as Venom: Let There Be Carnage. The title is obviously a piece of evidence that shows the appearance of Carnage (Woody Harrelson) - the supervillain as unveiled in the after-credits of the first movie.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage is considered as a mysterious project in recent days. Some rumor that Director Andy Serkis and his crew have almost finished video recording. But the COVID-19 pandemic has affected the post-production, leading to the unavoidable delay.

Before that, Sony Pictures shifted the release date of Morbius - another movie that belongs to a series of films relating to Spiderman’s opponents in the Marvel Comics. The vampire Marvel movie starring Jared Leto is expected to come out in theaters on March 2021, instead of this summer.

The Morbius trailer partly reveals the incidents in this movie take place at the same time as Spider-Man: Far from Home (2019), in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Vulture (Michael Keaton) appears as the clearest evidence. Many fans suppose that Tom Holland’s superhero may star as a cameo in Venom: Let There By Carnage.

In the past, Sony used to have a plan for Tom Holland’s appearance as Spiderman in Venom (2018), but Marvel Studios didn’t accept it.

The release date of Venom: Let There Be Carnage is shifted to Summer 2021, leading to the change in the release date of the sequel of Spider-Man: Far from Home. This movie may come out in theaters at the end of 2021 or even at the beginning of 2022. At first, the third standalone movie of Spider-Man is planned to release in July 2021.

After Tony Stark's death in the final Marvel Phase 3 movie, Avengers: Endgame, Spider-Man Peter Parker was left without guidance - while holding the key of Stark Industries' secret technologies. He was then used by Quentin Beck / Mysterio in order to take over the EDITH, Tony Stark's global network of technology for his evil plan.

However, Spider-Man managed to realize their hostile intentions in time and manage to stop the villain in his tracks. Mysterio, in his last breath, activates the final part of his plan: A secret modified tape containing footage of the London battle was sent to the Daily Bugle and revealed to the world. The video directly incriminates Spider-Man for the Elemental attacks and reveals his secret identity.

It is expected that in the next Spider-Man movie, Peter Parker would have to become a runaway fugitive, going against the law and Jonah Jameson's smearing to prove himself not guilty. Luckily, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there are two Superhero Lawyers that can deal with this case: Daredevil / Matt Murdock and She-Hulk / Jennifer Walters. Both have crossed paths with Spidey before in the comics - and it is very likely that one of them would be a part of the next Spider-Man movie.

1 - Would Daredevil be the prosecutor when Peter Parker sue Jonah Jameson?

Amongst all the shows released by Marvel to date, Daredevil is probably amongst the most popular. Its 2 seasons in 2015 and 2018 have been super successful amongst fans, surpass other marvel shows like Agent of Shield or Jessica Jones. However, after his successful debut, Marvel is still rather twitchy about introducing Charlie Cox's character into the main universe, due to the hyper-violence nature of the show.

Matt Murdock is probably the one character who can sympathize with Spider-Man's flight the most, as he is also torn between his desire to become Daredevil full time and his career as a lawyer. If Daredevil is going to be a part of Spider-Man, a season 3 for the show would pretty much be in the bag.

2 - She-Hulk is another possibility as well

She-Hulk is Bruce Banner's cousin, Jennifer Walters. After getting mortally injured, Bruce Banner saved her by infecting her body with his own gamma radiation cell. She would then become She-Hulk, working as both a superhero and a lawyer. With the She-Hulk show being in the work at Marvel, this is not impossible, as an appearance in a mainline MCU movie would definitely be able to serve as a catalyst for her own TV series to take off.

This is definitely going to be the more attractive option that Marvel might take, as they have been trying to introduce more and more female superheroines into the MCU.

3 - Spider-Man might have to defend himself

While adding more famous characters to create a crossover might sound exciting - it is just not possible in a lot of situations. With Sony, the one who holds the right of Spider-Man participated in the production process, everything must work well based on their standards.

Adaptation for Daredevil and She-Hulk is also not an easy task, as they are relatively less famous characters in the MCU and might need some further setup prior. An experienced director is required if Marvel wants to go into this route.

The movie Logan in 2017 has finalized a phase of the X-Men franchise with the death of Wolverine and the last X-Men film of Hugh Jackman. Hugh Jackman has been sticking with this character since the first X-Men movie in 2000. Since then, the figures for Wolverine has been tied with him in the mind of every audience.

While Logan has given a satisfying ending for the old generation of X-Men to prepare for the next phase of the franchise in the MCU, fans are still wondering if there is any chance that they can see Hugh Jackman as Wolverine on the big screen ever again, especially when Disney bought Fox last year along with the right to use X-Men characters.

In a recent interview, Hugh Jackman said that would have continued as the Wolverine if X-Men was in the MCU 7 years ago, but it is too late now as he "knew it was the right time for me to leave the party".

"Totally. Honestly, Marlow, if seven years ago that had happened I’d be like, “Oh yeah!” but I knew it was the right time for me to leave the party—not just for me, but for the character. Somebody else will pick it up and run with it." Hugh Jackman said in an interview.

Only if Disney bought Fox earlier so we can see Wolverine fight along with other characters such as Hulk and Ironman. Now, if Wolverine ever appears in the MCU, the character will be played by another actor and the fans will have to get used to it.

Also, in the Phase 4 plan of MCU, there is no X-Men movie or series on the list. So even if in the slim chance that X-Men is going to merge with the MCU, the fans still have to wait for at least a couple years more to see it happens.

Director Sam Raimi, the one behind the success of the original Spider-Man movie trilogy and the Evil Dead horror trilogy, is going to be the director of Marvel Doctor Strange's horror-themed sequel. This is actually a piece of great news, as Raimi is one of the rare directors who have had experiences in directing both superheroes movies and horror movies. These two have completely different themes and are very hard to mash together.

In the same interview that confirmed Raimi's involvement in the project, he also mentioned that Doctor Strange has always been one of his most favorite characters ever since he was a kid. The character of Doctor Strange was pretty unique in general, as in comic books, there isn't much "sorcerer" type of superhero - these guys are usually villains. The guy liked Strange so much he inserted his name into the script of Spider-Man 2 as a joke - little did Raimi know that 20 years later he would be working on a Doctor Strange movie.

Raimi's previous experiences on The Evil Dead and Spider-Man would be a great source of inspiration for this movie, as Doctor Strange: In the Multiverse of Madness is going to be one of the darkest Marvel stories yet, diving into weird timelines in which horrible things happen. Lots of characters in the Marvel universe are going to be involved in this movie, with Scarlet Witch - Wanda Maximoff being the prime candidate for the villain role. Based on various theories from experts, Wanda is going to use her reality-warping power to destabilize the timeline, warping the people on Earth into unforeseen situations.

The introduction of the Multiverse into the MCU is the prime chance for Marvel to merge every universe into one and introduce various new teams like the X-Men and Fantastic Four. Some rumors also suggest the appearance of a Zombie universe - a world filled with the zombified version of every hero in the MCU.

Deadpool 3 is one of the most anticipated movies amongst Marvel fans. With the first two entries about the "merc-with-a-mouth" being so fantastic, people have been putting a lot of hope on the third one. With Disney's acquisition of Fox Movies, Deadpool, along with the rest of the X-Men, would join the MCU, bringing along limitless possibilities of crossovers. Previously, a lot of interesting X-Men has joined Wade Wilson in his adventure, but most of them are just B or C lister at best.

While it is still quite a while until we would be able to see Deadpool again on the silver screen, it is never too early to make predictions about what would happen in the sequel. In this list below, we would list out some of the most notable characters that are likely to clash with Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool in the next movie.

1 - Taskmaster

Taskmaster is going to be introduced into the Marvel universe in the next Black Widow movie. This character is quite a fan-favorite in the comics - a badass normal, with the ability to mimic any movement or fighting style he observes with his photographic memory. The guy can go toe-to-toe against any non-powered character in the Marvel universe - and even weaker tiers like Deadpool easily. For this to happen, the guy needs to survive Black Widow, however.

The reason that their fights would be interesting is that they have met quite a few times in the comics - and Deadpool's unpredictable quirks leave Taskmaster in the dust every time.

2 - Spider-Man

Last year's contract dispute between Marvel and Sony taught us that Spider-Man's appearance in the MCU might be highly temporary - every time Peter Parker shows up in the franchise could be his last. Because of that, it is best that Spider-Man interacts with as many different heroes as possible so that we could enjoy the experience in case the character could be reclaimed.

Amongst all the characters who share a dynamic with Spider-Man, Deadpool is definitely on the top of the list. In the comic, the guy is often mistaken for Spider-Man, as their costumes are rather similar in colors. Deadpool is also a big fan of Spidey - every time they get together, the resulting shenanigans would be super hilarious. The R-rated of Deadpool series might be an issue, however - it is unclear if Sony would agree to this deal.

3 - Wolverine

One of the biggest challenges ahead for Marvel is how to find a new Wolverine for the MCU, replacing Hugh Jackman, who is going to retire very soon. Wolverine is probably the biggest fan-favorite mutant in all media, and the way Marvel introduce him would be crucial for their later plans. Deadpool 3 might play a role amongst all this.

The two characters with hyper regenerative powers have clashed pretty often in the comics, and with their opposite personalities, their engagements are always hilarious. In fact, if you count X-Men: Origins, Deadpool has even served as the final villain for a Wolverine movie before.

4 - Thanos

Deadpool and Thanos share a history in Marvel Comics - a rather unexpected one, with both characters, falls in love with the same woman: Death. If Thanos is going to be part of the sequel, this romantic triangle would have to be built up from scratch, as neither of the series that include those characters has mentioned it. The gist is like this: Thanos loves Death, but Death loves Deadpool. This leads to Thanos trying to kill Deadpool and failed every time.

With Josh Brolin playing both Thanos in Infinity War and Cable in Deadpool 2, expects a lot of fourth-wall-breaking if these two are to appear together on the big screen.

Josh Brolin's Thanos is finally defeated in the most recent Avenger movie, marking the end of an era for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With the Infinity Saga completed, the franchise is heading up into a transition period to create a brand new overarching narrative. A big part of this phase is to introduce the new casts of heroes and villains to replace the previous ones (who are either dead or retired). As fans eagerly wait for phase 4 to see who would ultimately be the next main villain in the MCU - there is still a possibility that the previous one: Thanos, the Mad Titan, would somehow come back to have his revenge.

In this article below, we would list out some of the most likely ways that they could re-introduce Thanos into the MCU.

1 - The Eternals could explore Thanos' Backstory

While the first movie, Infinity War, did an overall decent job to delve into Thanos' past and his reason for living. However, due to time constraints, a lot of things about the villain is still in the dark - the rest of the movie was divided into pieces for the massive cast. We did only see Thanos' past in fragments when he recalled some of his most important moments that related to the movie.

The first time was to Gamora, when he explained to her about her childhood and the first time they met. The second time was to Doctor Strange, when he justified his motivations for genocide. Afterward, Endgame shifted the focus away from him, therefore there's no more opportunity to find out more about his back story...unless the upcoming Eternals movie change that.

The second phase 4 movie after Black Widow would introduce Eternals, the newest MCU hero team. They are a group of super-powered beings that were created by the Celestials, users of the infinity gems. The movie boasts an impressive cast, with Angelina Jolie as Thena, Salma Hayek as Ajak, Kit Harrington as Black Knight... and more. While the main story of the movie would be set after Endgame, Eternals' actual story would span thousands of years prior - it would also serve as some kind of a prequel for the whole MCU.

How would Thanos factor into all of this? Well, the MCU's version of Thanos seems to use the original comic book origins, with him being the son of A'lars (revealed by Red Skull when Thanos arrives in Vormir). A'lars is actually an Eternals - there are unused concept arts of Infinity War showing a young Thanos and his Eternals family. If the character somehow involved in the next Eternals movie, we would definitely have more chance to learn about Thanos' upbringing before his madness.

2 - Thanos could appear in the Multiverse of MCU

Avengers: Endgame introduced the concept of a multiverse into the MCU with the Time Heist. While Spider-Man: Far From Home didn't really take the concept very seriously, it doesn't mean that we would not see more of those alternate realities in the future. In fact, the multiverse would be the main topic of a brand new Doctor Strange Sequel: "In the Multiverse of Madness". While specific details about the plot of that movie are not available yet - from the title alone, we can predict what is going to happen.

The Thanos who returned might as well be the one from another universe - maybe even from one where he has won the whole thing. Loki, one of the shows that are going to be released along with Disney Plus, used the version of the character right before Avenger 1's ending - the guy was fresh from working with Thanos. If Loki can come back from the dead being a different version from another timeline, Thanos definitely can.

3 - Could Thanos return from the dead in later Phases?

Aside from the above methods, there is actually one another way for the main villain of Infinity War to return to the MCU. After the Time Heist, Thanos' was defeated with Tony Stark's usage of the Infinity Gaunlet - the guy along with his whole army turns to dust. As people who were snapped away from existence can be recreated using another snap - if the infinity gems were assembled again using time travel, nothing is impossible. As we all know - anyone with the Pym Particle and access to the Quantum Tunnel can travel back in time. Amongst the likely villains for Marvel's phase 4 and beyond, there is one called Kang the Conqueror, whose main gist is time travel.

For now, there is probably no concrete plans for later Thanos appearances in the MCU, however, it doesn't have to stay that way. Overall, it is a waste if the character is not going to return ever again, as Josh Brolin along with years of build-up has nailed his character design. With the MCU's main gist being the movies' interconnectivity, it is definitely possible for the Mad Titan to rise again in any upcoming storylines.

Black Widow's alternate last stand in Avengers: Endgame is finally available online on Disney Plus. Before the movie was released, a lot of people expect that some characters would kick the bucket in Endgame, but "Black Widow" Natasha Romanoff was nowhere near the top of the list. This seems to be from a completely different cut of the movie - with a lot of details differs from what the Russo Brothers used in the final cut.

The scene we got in the theatrical version of Endgame was definitely more... personal to both Hawkeye and Black Widow, with them fighting each other for the right to sacrifice so that the others could live to bring back the Soul Stone. Things play out very differently in this original alternate death scene, however - they would arrive on Vormir and get ambushed by Thanos and his army on the way. Taking quite a few blaster shots on the chest, Natasha was reduced to a crawl - however, she still managed to jump off the cliff on time to save Clint Barton, as the Mad Titan Thanos is running up behind him.

This scene is really violent and super unsettling, more action-packed but less emotional - maybe that is the reason the scene was removed. The theatrical version really showed the emotional depth and history between Clint Barton "Hawkeye" and Natasha Romanoff "Black Widow".  Apparently, there was another version with Hawkeye being the one sacrificed as well - but they decided against using it after consulting the opinions of the movie's female crew. According to them, the character of Black Widow deserves this last swan song.

The Black Widow 2020 movie, while being a prequel, is actually a very important movie for the Marvel Cinematic Universe to move forward. It would be the first movie to kick start the fourth phase, post Infinity Saga Era. As we all know, each movie in a phase of Marvel plays a part in crafting the grand overall story and Black Widow, being the first movie of the phase, should be extra important.

However, there are a lot of questions about how Marvel would be able to do it, as the movie is a prequel and the main character is now dead. In this article, we would list out for major ways that Black Widow can impact the MCU's future.

1 - Yelena Belova might become the new Black Widow

The original incarnation of a hero passing the torch to the second generation has always been a pretty popular event in comic book storytelling, despite rarely happen in animated or real movies. We have already seen that in the MCU with Hank Pym training Scott Lang for the role of the Ant-Man. With Natasha Romanoff perished in canon, it looks like the mantle of Black Widow would be taken up by someone else going forward. From what we can gather from trailers, it is very likely to be Florence Pugh's Yelena Belova.

In the comics, Yelena is trained to inherit the Black Widow title, and it certainly looks like the movie version is going to do the same thing. Due to the fact that Yelena trained at the same place and has the same set of skills with the first Black Widow - the overall spy/assassin gist of the character moving forward would remain intact.

2 - More about the history of the MCU - or maybe even a Hulk solo movie

Since her first introduction in Iron Man 2, Black Widow has been consistently shown to be one of the more elusive heroes in the MCU, with her backstory provided only in small doses over various dialogues in multiple movies. In her own solo movie, we can expect that a lot of those teaser dialogues to be expanded upon - we would learn more about her life before she became an Avenger, and maybe even details related to other characters. Black Widow is one of the first characters in the Avenger roster, and she is involved in recruiting almost all of the original lineup - in flashback sequences in her movie, various reveals might happen (an Iron man cameo by Robert Downey Jr. is already confirmed).

In this new movie, it is revealed that Natasha would have some history with Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross, a villain that often appears in Hulk's origin stories (the guy was part of the Sokovia/Civil War storyline as well). Thaddeus Ross is also the Red Hulk (a version of Hulk with a different set of power) in the comics, but this is likely not going to be the case in the MCU.

3 - Taskmaster might be a recurring villain

Overall, Taskmaster is one of the cooler villains with an ability to mimic the fighting style/method of other heroes. His "copy ability" photographic reflexes have made the guy one of the best fighters in the Marvel Universe - and it would be a shame to have the guy removed after his first appearance. The "smaller-scale" power is also pretty refreshing and new, as in previous Marvel movies, most villains have world-breaking powers. A badass "supernormal" villain like Taskmaster would be a great addition to this phase and beyond.

Admittedly, given the track record of Marvel Studios, it is very likely that this guy would be a one-off villain and killed after the first appearance. This is actually rather bad for long term developments, as one of the weakest parts in the Infinity War duology is Thanos' group of minor henchmen - they pretty much exist to be defeated and killed by the heroes. There is a lot about Taskmaster that we don't know, even the identity of the actor who's playing the character.

4 - Hawkeye backstory - and maybe a later solo movie

When the Avengers first assembled, they were a rag-tag band of random people united only by necessity - except for two characters, Black Widow and Hawkeye. It was eventually unveiled later on in the movie that these two have a lot of history together. This eventually accumulates and built up to create an awesome climax between them in Avengers: Endgame - Black Widow's struggle to become the one to die for the Soul Stone is one of the most intense and heartbreaking parts of the movie. With the requirement of Vormir being "you have to sacrifice the person you love most", people probably have realized the romantic tension between them.

With Hawkeye being the only original Avenger who hasn't had a solo movie, it is very likely that Black Widow's eventual success would lead to a prequel movie for Hawkeye down the line. It can also tie into the upcoming Hawkeye show that is going to air on Disney Plus as well. Nick Fury was one of the most crucial characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with his role being the leader of S.H.I.E.L.D, the organization in which the Avengers eventually rally under. His first appearance was on the post-credit of the first Iron Man movie back in 2008 – and only after that did people realize an avenger movie could happen for real.

Throughout phase 1 of the MCU, Nick Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D was the sole connector to link all the movies together into Avenger 2012. And because of that, Samuel L. Jackson was signed to an absurd nine-movies deal, in order to make sure everything is secured for the MCU to take off and become the biggest brand in the industry.

Since then, Jackson’s Nick Fury has appeared in 11 MCU movies, ranging from just a brief cameo in Thor and Endgame to full time supporting roles like in Captain Marvel and Spider-Man. Fury’s journey almost came to an end in Winter Soldier – and with the third phase of the MCU concluded in Endgame, the guy might not be around for much longer.

According to various sources, Nick Fury is going to stick around for a few more movies until phase 4 end – afterward, the character would be retired and replaced with Abigail Brand, the leader of a new government organization called S.W.O.R.D. Both this character and the organization would be introduced in Wandavision, the upcoming Marvel TV show on Disney Plus. It is expected that Fury’s arc would end with the second Captain Marvel movie, as Brie Larson’s character is the one who has the most history with the director of S.H.I.E.L.D.
