The latest Star Wars game: Jedi - Fallen Order is finally here and we’ve got a lot to cover. This article will bring you key information about the game as revealed at Chicago’ Star Wars Celebration.

Cal Kestis, by Cameron Monaghan, is the star of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, being a young force user as well as a budding Jedi. Stig Asmussen directed Jedi: Fallen Order. The guy believed that fans of Star Wars are particularly interested in the dark times and that led them to explore such a mysterious and dangerous period. Lucasfilm was very helpful towards exploring and developing this time period, he continued.

All in all, the key takeaway is that they’ve created an intense and thoughtful game that features fun lightsaber melee combat and Force powers usage. Any fans of Star Wars will have their Jedi fantasy fulfilled and satisfied, he assured.

We got much more information about Fallen Order from the product description than in the Celebration. First things first, Respawn confirmed that Fallen Order is not an open world game! However, you get to decide where and when to go next. Also, you can explore Force powers in many other ways. Expect various kinds of challenges, from combat, exploration to puzzle-solving ones.

Single-player, no multiplayer/DLC/micro-transactions

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will be a single player game with no multiplayer aspects. According to producer Blair Brown on Twitter, it also features no micro-transactions at all, which would put a smile on many gamer’ faces.

Chris Avellone was the one to work on KOTOR 2 and now on Fallen Order, story-wise. Meanwhile, Stig Asmussen is the director of the game, who previously worked on multiple God of War projects. To many Star Wars fans, this can only be good things coming in the future

We just have the news that the much-hyped Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will soon be available on official stream. But on Reddit recently there are many supposed leaks and rumors about the game.

An individual nicknamed SchrodingersWitcher - who is an active Reddit user - has revealed a lot of information that he said that he got by salvaging from deleted posts of the game dev. If these leaks are real then you should prepare for a surprise because of this one rumor that is under the spotlight. This rumor says that the upcoming Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will have the battle system just like in the recently-released Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. This means combat will mostly revolve around the player's ability to Parry. This would make one feel like a real Jedi.

Moreover, we know that they use Unreal Engine 4 to develop Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and that the game will only available in single-player mode. Then there are also rumor saying that in-game there will be a companion droid that works as a back-bag for your character. According to Reddit, this game will have tons of open-world elements that will allow the player to go from planet-to-planet like the latest God of War.

Parkour?

Hints on parkour and wall running mechanism were also mentioned, these are the features that always excite the players. Aside from that, we know that the game will be like Uncharted and  Star Wars: The Force Unleashed which feature very cool enemies.

Hackers were complaining about their bans within a forum.

Respawn Entertainment appears to have issues another ban wave on a ton of hackers and cheaters in Apex Legends. We get to witness an internet forum on Reddit where cheaters were complaining about their accounts got banned recently.

Hackers are crying in the corner

A forum user expressed helplessly, saying “Everyone got banned.” Another guy couldn’t play in his new account, just after the very first game with it. We can also see many other comments expressing their surprise on how Respawn busted these cheaters. The way they handled this was “way beyond me”, someone said. In addition, some of them confirmed that common acts to bypass the ban like changing IP didn’t work this time.

In fact, we didn't actually hear from Respawn if a ban wave was out. But it appears that Respawn has caught a few players with some sort of cheat app running. These are normally third-party software that grant them superior in-game advantage like perfect aim (aimbot) or super-fast movement (speed hack).

On March 9^th, Respawn confirmed to ban more than 355,000 cheaters from Apex Legends since its official release. Among those bans, some of them happened ever before the game starts, thanks to the Easy-Anti Cheat system.

New report feature

In addition, players can now report a suspicious player/potential hacker after elimination. This feature is fairly new and has just been around for a few days after the latest Apex update. The instruction appeared on the top right of the screen after displaying your death screen. In here, you can choose the category in which the cheater falls into, either from aimbot or speed hack.

With such implement of the report system, let’s hope all the cheaters get what they deserve and learn their lessons.

According to many Apex Legends players, the Legend Bonus cap from Season One Battle Pass seemed to double this afternoon.

Previously, players would earn up to 25,000 Points for each legend they played. Apparently, the figure has shifted up to 50,000, or at least appeared like so because of a potential visual glitch. Such bonus would immediately turn back to 25,000 once players finished the current match, seemingly failed to put that exact match into calculation for the Legend Bonus.

Regarding this, we conducted some tests and found that the cap was sitting at 50,000. The surplus points are available to players after restarting Apex Legends, thus granting them points beyond the 25,000 cap.

At the beginning, Respawn Entertainment mentioned that they would reset character bonus every week. Therefore, players are able to earn another 25,000 even if they reached the bonus cap previously.

Meanwhile, as spotted today, another glitch was found when the system seemed to add 25,000 more bonus points to the cap rather than resetting it. The whole thing really confused players, having neither a proper cap reset nor a correct cap increase.

The leveling system

Respawn Entertainment finally released their Apex Legends Season One Battle Pass on Mar 19^th. Players have had some ideas on how the points systems work as well as how to quickly progress faster. There has been a thread on Reddit where someone posted a picture of ways to level up faster.

Players can gain additional Battle Points just by surviving, and once they reach the bonus cap, they can no longer do. However, it is possible to switch to another legend and start over until they reach the cap for that character.

Respawn Entertainment hasn’t responded to the situation just yet. We shall see if they will in the near future.

Hence, here are some of the best ways to do that.

On Reddit, there’s a chart that lists out ways to earn XP and it turns out to be the most effective way, rather than just grind and grind for hours in-game. There are so many ways to earn yourself those juicy XP.

Daily & Weekly Bonus

First kill in the day will grant you 500 XP. The same amount goes to first kill with each available legend. Also, there’s a pool of 25,000 weekly bonus survival time for each legend.

Survival Time Experience

You’ll need to survive for 139 minutes on a legend to max out the survival time. The weekly minimum amount of XP you’ll gain out of that is 50,000. To get to level 110, it would take you 150 hours of Survival Time. The number rises up to 300 hours for Survival Time alone.

There was a complaint from players on Mar 20^th, saying that it takes too long in order to level up the Battle Pass. Respawn Entertainment did respond by clarifying this.

"It would take around 100 hours to complete the battle pass, given that players use their bonuses and earn themselves some kills.” The developer also mentioned the average game time of 1 hour per day.

Overall, the chart is right there and it certainly helps you to speed up the process as you wished.

By now no Apex Legends fans don’t know about Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek. This former CS:GO pro player has become the number one Apex Legends streamer on Twitch. His name skyrockets with the popularity of this game. Some even say Shroud and Apex Legends are born for each other.

Apex Legends has always been a huge hit since its surprising release on February 4th. The fact that this game was able to gather 50 million players in just slightly more than one month has proved the greatness of this battle royale game by Respawn Entertainment. However, that success is being highly threatened by all kinds of hackers and cheaters of the game.

On a recent stream, Shroud has talked about this issue with his viewers. Shroud said that he had shared some words with Respawn Entertainment about producing a fast, correct and trustworthy anti-cheat system for the game. Though EA and Respawn Entertainment have added a report feature to their game, he doesn’t think it’ll be enough to stop waves of cheaters.

The former CS:GO pro gamer could not show much sympathy for Respawn Entertainment’s hard situation since he knows how cheaters will screw up everything if we don’t have firm reactions - especially with free-to-play titles. But, while the streamer thinks that this game has to remain free-to-play, the developer of Apex Legends has not been hard enough with the cheaters.

To be honest, we have to agree with Shroud. We are seeing more and more cheaters in the game: from wall cheating to speed hack. Yes, EA and Respawn Entertainment are in a difficult situation, but some things need to be done, and it needs to be done soon.

Apex Legends sets a huge launching record of a successful opening-month as a F2P game, earning approximately $92 million in revenues. Such huge amount was from in-game purchases across multiple platforms in the month of February, according to SuperData.

According to Nielsen reports, in the same month, there has been a great amount of $8.2 billion spent on digital games – a 2% rise compared to Feb 2018.

Regarding the revenues, Apex Legends ranked 4^th in console & ranked 6^th in PC, among all titles. Their biggest rivalry at the moment, Fortnite, ranked 2^nd in console & ranked 5^th in PC. The Epic Games huge hit generates as much as $300 million in revenues just after a month. At the same time, NBA2K19 witnesses an increase of 42% in in-game spending.

Apex Legends surprise entrance

For your information, Respawn Entertainment surprised gamers with the release of Apex Legends on Feb 4^th. They only revealed the game 15 minutes before its official release. However, Respawn Entertainment is reported to have paid both Tyler Blevins ("Ninja") and Michael Grzesiek ("shroud") $1 million to stream Apex Legends and create social posts relating to the game.

In the first three days after launch, over 10 million players tried the game. The number increased to more than 50 million within February.

As you have probably known, Apex Legends is a free to play game. Because of that, the huge revenue came from in-game virtual currency. Some of the hottest commodities are Apex Packs and various cosmetic items, providing to characters as well as in-game weapons. Just a few days ago, Apex Legends developer Respawn Entertainment released a new character named Octane to the battle royale, and some keen-eyed fans have noticed that the backstory of this new character drew inspiration from the Titanfall 2’s speedrunning community.

An individual known by the nickname Cash Mayo holds the current world record for speedrunning Titanfall 2’s Gauntlet in just 12 seconds. To achieve such an impressive feat, this person calculated and used frag grenades at the correct moment to give themselves speed boosts when needed. Of course, aside from that trick, a lot of precise movements were required to finish the run in such a short time. Check out the video below to witness the making of this record with your own eyes.

It seems Respawn Entertainment was impressed by this too, as the studio decided to use it as an inspiration to write Octane’s backstory.

In the official description of Octane, we know that he is the heir to the Silva Pharmaceuticals and as a result had a luxurious upbringing, never lacking for anything in his life. Thus, he found entertainment in performing dangerous stunts, then record and share them for others to watch. One day, he decided to set a new record for a Gauntlet by using a grenade to launch himself over the finish line.

That foolish attempt cost Octane his legs, but he then had them replaced with mechanical prosthetics that let him run even faster. The first trailer of Octane has a reference to the Gauntlet speedrun and also a link to Cash Mayo’s run. Cash Mayo seems pretty glad to know about this, calling Respawn “clever” on reddit. And this person has a point. This is indeed a nice move from Respawn to show appreciation to fans of its games.

Launching in February, Apex Legends, the latest battle royale game, is gaining more and more players all over the worlds. It was published without any initial marketing or announcement, but still becoming one of the most well-known game titles internationally. It is considered as a rival of Fortnite although it has just released this year.

Yet the developer of Apex Legends, Respawn Entertainment, has been experiencing a major problem plaguing its battle royale game recently. There are hackers who defense to the anti-cheat system in the game and gain wrongful benefits during the battle.

Even Team SoloMid’s Colton ‘Viss’ Vinnier, one of the professional players, has met at least 3 cheaters in the game. Viss suddenly noticed one particular player racking up a ridiculous statistic of eliminations as he was playing with a random team.

Viss couldn’t save his teammates from a suspected hacking team after being knocked down by one player. Before that, another hacker came in order to wipe out the kills.

As a result, he made a decision that to isolate the hacker along with a player named ‘mr-DaShXian’ as to see if he was cheating or not. As that hacker downed the last two players, his suspicions were confirmed. That hacker even humiliated the dead bodies with only a legend staying alive.

Viss joked that his stream should be watched by Respawn Entertainment in order to ban this unforgivable cheater. He didn’t expect it to come true. Magically, by somehow that cheater suddenly froze as he was going to be booted offline to the amusement of the TSM member’s Twitch chat.

Respawn Entertainment is trying their best in order to ban every hacker whereas working on a season one battle pass for their fans soon.

Hacker is one major serious issue that is still happening since the beginning of Apex Legends Season 1.

More than 16,000 cheaters were announced to be banned from this famous battle royale game, according to a Reddit post since February. However, the number of cheaters seems to keep growing gradually every day due to the current increasing popularity of the game. Nowadays, there are more and more people downloading and enjoying Apex Legends.

You would definitely meet in the minimum of one hacker in your playtime if you have been playing Apex Legends since its very first time.

As you can do nothing to the matter, you might feel funny and enjoyable about the clip displaying the circumstance that one hacker getting a taste of his own medicine, experiencing the same unpleasant thing that they inflicted on this battle royale game.

There are several hackers complaining about the hardware bans that they have received. They tried to create new accounts in order to start again but fail. Apex Legends doesn’t allow it.

It seems that Apex Legends has lost a lot of surprise element for their fans. Just over a few weeks, there has been lots of leaks and information in datamines to spoil what’s incoming. Some recent images show pictures of an upcoming L-Star weapon while some others show 10 character models of new legends to arrive.

Against the issue, Respawn tells players not to treat any of such thing as a trustworthy source of information. In fact, the community manager of Apex Legends did have some words on Reddit on the situation. The guy said that there's some very old stuff in there, Respawn might have tried and cut them out. He reminded everyone that the design process includes prototyping and playing many ideas, and therefore such things might still be in the development process.

He also said it’s not confirmable about the release of such weapons and legends, just because some people found out about them. According to him, players should just treat such post as rumors and patiently wait to see what’s actually coming.

About Octane

However, there’s a leak that really seems to be the truth: Octane is the next legend to come out. Some Origin users saw an advertising banner about this season’s battle pass, saying Octane will cost about 950 Apex coins (around £8) in the store. This banned was removed after a short while of appearing on the storefront. Nonetheless, the background image that contains Octane still remain on Origin's assets.

Furthermore, Respawn squashed rumors about the starting day of the season as well. Players should keep waiting for more details on the battle pass as well as new legends, as they are coming "very soon".

And now, chances are that we will even see that name more when there are hints from EA that there will be an official mobile version for Apex Legends.

The game now only available for players in PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC platforms. However, in the latest earnings conference call for the company, Mr. Andrew Wilson – CEO of Electronic Arts (EA) – has hinted that the game has chances to appear officially on mobile platform.

“We are looking at how to take the game to mobile and cross-play over time,” said Andrew Wilson

There have been fake Apex Legends games on mobile platform, especially on Android smartphones. This proves that the demand of the gaming community for an mobile version of this game is really high. And it gets higher and higher every day since more and more people are playing this game lately. This game only needs one month to reach 50 million download milestone, while it took Fortnite more than four months to reach this milestone.

If the mobile version of Apex Legends is introduced, its primary targeted market would be China and India. These 2 countries have an incredibly large amount of gamers for PUBG mobile, as well as mobile gamers. Apex Legends mobile will gain huge success in these 2 markets, no doubt. It has not been a long time since the official release of Apex Legends, yet there have been fans who complain about how the biggest characters in the game get hit much easier compared to the smallest ones. Respawn Entertainment - the game’s developer has been working on those complaints. The company has recently announced on Reddit that it is in the process of making changes and will rebalance some of the characters soon.

The Reddit post covered a new feature which has already been updated into the game, which changes the weapons. The studio explained that its approach to creating alterations is to be cautious and assured that they're tested carefully before going live.

This latest update added some slight changes. However, the ones that deal with the hitboxes of the Legends are still being postponed until sometime around the end of this month, when they will have been more carefully worked on as well as developed.

To those who are not familiar with the term, "hitbox" indicates an invisible area surrounding a character on video games which registers impacts; whenever an attack hits the interior of a character’s hitbox, this character will receive a certain amount of damage. On the contrary, if the attack lands on the outside of the hitbox, it will not be counted and the character will not be affected.

The issue here is that big Legends in Apex Legends own similarly big hitboxes. Among the Legends, Gibraltar possesses the biggest one, and then there are Pathfinder as well as Caustic. This makes them so much easier to get hit compared to the smaller characters. However, this situation partially stemmed from design. Respawn intentionally designed those characters with a bigger surface area in order to balance it with their abilities. They did that because they want all Legends in this game to have approximately the same viability, power and also win rate.

However, players have been arguing about the hitboxes for a long time about whether they are too big. Some people even tested found out that some hitboxes slightly wonky. For example, the hitbox surrounding Pathfinder is a little bit bigger than his character model. It extends down in-between the Legend’s legs a bit lower compared to the actual frame.

Respawn announced that it is working on some changes to the bigger Legends. Characters such as Gibraltar, Pathfinder, and Caustic will all have their hitboxes scaled down as well as better optimized in order to be suitable with the models.

The company also confirmed that it will make some further changes when necessary. However, those changes might include strengthen up the abilities of those character. After all, adjusting hitboxes is a major change which may take the players quite some time before they can be used to it.

A few other Legends are having some slight changes, too. Both Bangalore and Wraith will have a slight reduction in their escape abilities. Moreover, the passive skill of Bangalore, which allows her to increase her movement speed when she is under fire, will also get a reduction of 10%, instead of a 40% increase in speed, it is now 30%. Wraith also gets a tweak on her skill - Into The Void - particularly relating to the cooldown time. This ability which allowed her to become invulnerable will now have a cooldown of 25 seconds instead of 20.

The big question that is concerning everyone is the exact time when these adjustments will be applied to the game. There has not been any official announcement from Respawn Entertainment about the release of Season One for Apex Legends. Therefore, it is still unclear when these rebalancing updates (which go along with the Season One) will be activate.

When something or someone is too famous, people tend to search back in the history of that thing/person for topics to discuss. And Apex Legends – the new big hit in the battle royale genre by Respawn Entertainment – is no exception. Recently, Reddit users discovered that King’s Canyon – the first and only map of Apex Legends up to this moment – was leaked nearly a year ago. But at that moment no one seemed to care.

Eleven months ago, Reddit account “hiticonic” posted a photo on the Titanfall subreddit saying that this is the map for a “rumored Titanfall battle royale game.” However, at that time people didn’t give much care for it. The post only generated 14 comments, and comments on the thread were seemingly to be quite pessimistic toward the idea of a battle royale game with Titanfall theme. In fact, the most upvoted comment in this post was “I really hope this doesn’t happen.”

The map was leaked by “hiticonic”But things always happen in the most unexpected way. The leaked map became the official King’s canyon that we all know now, and the “rumored Titanfall battle royale game” is Apex Legends now. But then Apex Legends have become so popular all over the world that the old post by “hiticonic” is dug up again.

This time, Reddit account “Fubbles22” post on Apex Legends official subreddit about the post by “hiticonic” 11 months ago. And this time, the post by “Fubbles22” has gone viral. This post has generated 1,6k comments, gained 56,2k upvotes at the moment this article is being written.

In the Reddit post by “Fubbles22”, the comment by “hiticonic” is getting a lot of attention from Reddit users. A lot of replies to his comment asked or suspected that “hiticonic” is, or at least was a member of the developing team for Apex Legends, and he attempted to heat up the community. No one can confirm this information yet, but “hiticonic” is a member of the moderator team of this Apex Legends subreddit.

No matter what the truth is and was, Respawn Entertainment probably did not foresee the success and love that their game is receiving right now, nor the kind of reaction for the game when the map was leaked back in March. Now, Apex Legends is so famous that the game has had some tournaments for itself already.

Flying bug is one of the most annoying errors that dev team of Apex Legend is trying their best to fix till now. It means that players are about to fly around the map forever. Whenever players are about to land on the ground, they will be thrown back up to the air and keep flying.  And after your character is settled into the air once again, it can freely fly all over the map.

A flying glitch in Apex Legend is quite a big problem for Respawn

Flying with this bug seems a little rough than when you first drop in. However, players can jump down to wherever they want anytime with a safe landing, after throwing back into the air again. Apex Legends just got a new weapon yesterday and you might have seen it: it’s a unique gun. The HAVOC Rifle is the first weapon released by Respawn Entertainment after the official launch date of the game. The brand-new HAVOC Rifle arrived at Apex Legends three days ago, on Feb 20^th. Sean Slayback was the primary weapon designer of Apex Legends and the guy used Reddit to give his tips and tricks regarding this cool gun.

Slayback mentioned that HAVOC is initially inspired by a rifle that appeared in Elysium in 2013. Apart from revealing an interesting story behind the weapon, Slayback got to the main point and gave out his tips to master the weapon.

A quick review of the assault rifle

The HAVOC rifle is an energy assault one. Its default fire mode would be “full-automatic alongside a charge-up time.” Therefore, before it starts shooting, you’ll have to lower the trigger a little bit, unlike other fully-automatic ones in Apex Legends. However, Slayback did say that the high damage and velocity as well as the low bullet drop will make up for those waiting time.

As a matter of fact, HAVOC is the very first weapon in Apex Legends that owns more than 1 Hopup attachment. But at any point in time you can only equip one of it.

One of those attachments is the Turbocharge. This attachment lets you remove the default time for HAVOC to charge-up. However, we’ll take a closer look at the Selectfire Receiver.
