Diablo IV will be released on June 6, 2023, just over a week away. It has now attained gold status. The fourth game in the genre-defining series, the eagerly awaited release immerses players once more in Sanctuary's gloomy universe updates GGBet.

Going gold is a significant achievement for the fantastic Diablo IV team, who have all worked incredibly hard to create the next iteration of this legendary franchise, as stated by Diablo general manager Rod Fergusson. This is a real, significant step towards our launch on June 6. We can't wait for everyone to play the entire game—taking part in the amazing storytelling, experimenting with character classes and builds, and discovering what the endgame and the shadowy world of Sanctuary have to offer—regardless of whether they are returning players or newcomers to the franchise.

Diablo 4 Classes Best 11

When the launch build of a game is complete and "Going Gold" is announced, it means that the game has taken a significant step towards being made available to gamers all over the world. In Diablo IV, players can take part in the battle to expel the Blessed Mother Lilith from the gloomy and gothic environment of Sanctuary by slaying legions of demonic enemies.

Golden Highlights From Hell:

 • Play Your Way: With five separate character classes, a plethora of cosmetics and talents, and the freedom to choose their own path across the world, players have more possibilities than ever before to construct the character fantasy they desire.
 • Open World Gameplay: A full story campaign, more than 120 dungeons, hundreds of side missions, global bosses, and a vast amount of space to explore are all included in the open-world gameplay.
 • New Endgame Systems: Through large paragon boards, PvP zones, Nightmare Dungeons and Helltides, the Tree of Whispers, and other endgame content, players can continue to develop and put their skills to the test.

Diablo 4's Dungeons Are Becoming Less Repetitive And Tedious, Thanks To Beta Feedback

Bettors playing know that the final version of Diablo IV will feature significant modifications to the dungeons due to player input, which will make them less dull and repetitive.

Blizzard delves into all the significant adjustments the development team is making as a result of input from the game's record-breaking open beta in a brand-new blog post. The fact that Diablo IV's dungeons frequently required retracing in order to achieve goals, as well as how similar the structure of many dungeons seemed, was one of the most frequently voiced criticisms, according to Blizzard. The complete release of Diablo IV will change that, as Blizzard has subsequently "optimized" a number of dungeons throughout all of the game's zones to "minimize the need for backtracking."

According to Blizzard, many goals have now been relocated along key dungeon pathways so that players no longer have to trek down hallways to reach a side room, activate an objective, and then return to the critical path. In order to complete some tasks, players had to carry objects to specific locations or interact with various objects. Players can now move more quickly while carrying objective objects, and objectives are activated more quickly. All of these interactions have been sped up. Additionally, the "kill all monsters" objective now requires the final few creatures to go after players, which should significantly speed up dungeon clearing timings.

Although there are many different objectives to achieve in the dungeons, player feedback indicated that doing so was tedious, according to Blizzard. It is anticipated that adding perks, such as the ability to carry more objects while moving more quickly, would improve and diversify the experience of fulfilling goals. This change is just the beginning; in a subsequent version, they also plan to apply this principle to keys.

Additionally, responses are leading to significant changes in the class. Players in the beta noted that the Necromancer and their minions felt overpowered, while the Barbarian felt underpowered at lower levels. Blizzard concurs. The Barbarian will have a flat 10% damage mitigation buff in the complete game, and upgrades to talents like Whirlwind and Double Swing should make the class more enjoyable to use. On the other hand, Necromancers' minions have been degraded and summoned minions now experience more frequent death. Both the brightness of skeletal minions, which players claimed didn't fit with the game's somber tone, and the damage caused by Corpse Explosion has been decreased.

Each class has undergone some kind of modification. While several Rogue talents now have higher benefits, Druids' ultimate skill cooldowns have been lowered, and their companions' damage increased. Changes to the Sorcerer class include reduced Chain Lightning damage and a rise in the occurrence of Firewalls beneath foes when the class uses its Enchantment bonus.

According to Blizzard, the class adjustments aim to make talents seem significant and potent while still being intriguing and "interactive in terms of itemization and combat feel." Players and Blizzard agreed that several skills seemed overly powerful. Therefore improvements were made. The launch is only the beginning of our class balance adventure, and you can anticipate more updates that improve on this aspect of Diablo IV, according to Blizzard.

In addition, cellars have been upgraded so that they are more likely to contain events and always provide a chest upon completion. A sans-serif typeface that was prominently used on item descriptions has also been replaced with a new serif font. Players rapidly discovered that one of the best ways to level quickly was to kill large numbers of elite enemies early in a dungeon, leave, and then reset the dungeon to start over. However, it appears that Blizzard isn't a fan of this specific grinding technique. Players will presumably have to finish a dungeon before being able to try it again, as Blizzard adds that the ability to reset dungeons has been blocked. Recent interviews have revealed that Diablo IV's seasonal battle passes will take about 80 hours to complete and that new story content connected to new seasonal elements will be released every three months.

If you are interested in Diablo IV but have not yet purchased it, trying out one of these 5 games might be a good idea.]]>

Diablo IV is coming out this June, and if you want to try out the beta, it is possible to pre-order the game and play it right away. However, if pre-order is not your thing and you want to wait and see if it is bug-free or not, it might be a good idea to check out some of the following "diablo clones" instead.

In this article, Gurugamer is going to showcase the 5 best action RPG similar to Diablo IV in 2023.

1. Path of Exile

Path of Exile strikes a balance between the satisfying but simplistic gameplay of Diablo 3 and the more complex yet clunky style of Diablo 2. Although it may seem intricate initially, with no standard currency and various orbs used for trading and crafting, PoE's lack of traditional classes adds to its complexity. Instead, the game's classes determine your starting point on the "passive tree," which, combined with Ascendancy classes and other choices made during the campaign, allows for an extraordinary level of complexity.

Path of Exile

However, once you overcome the learning curve, you are rewarded with a game that offers a more fleshed-out endgame than Diablo 3 and nearly infinite build complexity. PoE's gameplay loop follows the traditional formula of killing monsters to acquire better gear to kill stronger monsters, but the game's diverse builds and playstyles ensure that players don't get bored. The game's skill gem sockets, links, and crafting mechanics provide further opportunities for character customization, making it possible to create a vast array of different characters. Compared to Diablo 3, where there are usually only a handful of viable builds per season, PoE offers hundreds of viable builds, making the difficulty of the game not in finding a good build, but in choosing one from the countless options available.

Additionally there are Ascendancy classes are specializations that players can choose for their characters once they reach level 75 and complete the Labyrinth, a series of puzzle-like areas filled with traps and monsters. Each of the game's 19 Ascendancy classes provides players with a unique set of passive skills, allowing them to further customize their characters and playstyles.

2. Grim Dawn

One of the greatest features of Grim Dawn is the multitude of options available to players. With 72 possible mastery combinations, each with its own skillsets that can be combined with those of other masteries, there are a plethora of viable character builds. While there are optimal builds that can be achieved by following guides, it is also possible to beat the game with any combination of masteries, even without prior knowledge. Mistakes in character creation can be rectified easily and at a low cost, and the various skillsets and combinations offer vastly different gameplay experiences. Choosing to specialize in different weapons, such as guns, swords, or magic, also significantly alters gameplay, as do the options of wielding a one-handed shield, two-handed weapons, or dual-wielding.

The game's replay value is also enhanced by branching questlines, different decisions that lead to varied locked-off areas and hidden secrets, functional cooperative multiplayer, a hardcore 1-life mode, and regular game updates from the developers, who still work on the game with passion despite having other projects. Additionally, the game's expansions offer multiple alternative paths and factions to choose from, making it worth replaying on a regular basis.

Grim Dawn

The graphics in Grim Dawn are well done, with highly detailed environments and character models. The game has a gloomy and ominous atmosphere, which is complemented by a haunting and immersive soundtrack. The sound effects are also well done and add to the overall immersive experience.

3. Titan Quest

Despite some areas where it has aged and lacks some of the modern conveniences and quality of life features found in newer titles of its genre, Titan Quest is still capable of standing out today. One of its strengths lies in its distinctiveness, as there is no other game like it that takes place in Ancient Greece and its mythology, which makes it particularly captivating for those interested in that time period.

The game's gameplay is still very enjoyable, despite the repetition of the combat at times. You can complete quests, slay monsters and gather loot as you progress through the game, and have the option of investing skill points into one of nine skill trees or masteries as you level up. Once you reach level 8, you can choose a second mastery to mix and match with the first one or stick with just one, which adds to the game's replayability. In my opinion, this feature is only surpassed by Grim Dawn. So far, I have only tried the Conqueror and Ranger, but I am interested in trying out other masteries.

Titan Quest 2
Titan Quest gameplay

The level design is just exquisite. I'm not really a fan of dark and gloomy and Titan Quest is such a breath of fresh air. A wide variety of maps and different vistas, along with varying monsters as mythologies change is a far cry from the depressing worlds of Diablo and Grim Dawn. Ancient cities, old tombs, temples, forests, mountain passes, deserts and the very gates of the Underworld itself make for a rich world. There is also plentiful checkpoints situated throughout, so you can generally play in short spells or long sessions too.

4. Torchlight 2

As someone who played Diablo 2 extensively and enjoyed it a lot, I was searching for a similar game that could replicate the same experience. Specifically, I wanted an Action RPG that could provide the same sense of enjoyment and satisfaction as Diablo 2. Torchlight 2 manages to deliver that experience almost flawlessly, while also addressing many of the flaws that Diablo 2 had and turning them into strengths.

Torchlight 2

At its essence, Torchlight 2 is a typical Action RPG with classes, skill trees, and a quest-based hack-and-slash gameplay that spans large maps. However, the game excels at these elements and truly embodies the essence of what an ARPG should be. The combat, which is the most crucial component of an ARPG, is incredibly gratifying.

The game's story is serviceable but not particularly memorable, as it mainly serves as a backdrop for the gameplay. However, the game's world is rich with lore and secrets to discover, making exploration and discovery a rewarding experience. The game also features a robust multiplayer mode that allows players to team up with friends and take on challenging dungeons and bosses together.

One of the game's strongest aspects is its art direction, which features a colorful and cartoonish aesthetic that is both charming and visually pleasing. The music is also noteworthy, with an excellent soundtrack that perfectly complements the game's frenetic gameplay.

5. The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut

Upon first impression, The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing does not look like much, with its static world and limited variety of enemies and typical elements of a click-heavy action RPG. However, one distinct aspect that sets it apart is the unique and entertaining voiceover interactions between Van Helsing and his companion Katarina, which become apparent even before embarking on the first quest area.

The Incredible Adventures Of Van Helsingbanner
Van Helsing: Final Cut

The game offers a wide range of options for classes, skills, spells and equipment which are heavily influenced by the choices you make when creating your character. Compared to other games in this genre, the variety of options available in this game stands out as exceptional. Your initial selection will have a big impact on how you experience the game, which adds to its replayability factor.

Van Helsing: Final Cut gameplay

Since Final Cut is the Van Helsing trilogy stitched into one game, it's helpful to break down the gameplay into three acts. The first act follows typical ARPG gameplay with players fighting their way through various environments, helping villages, and ultimately taking on the city's overlord. The maps are expansive, and the bosses have unique abilities.

The second act changes things up by having Van Helsing lead a resistance army against a new threat. The maps in this section are designed more like battlefields, and there's a greater sense of grandeur. However, this comes at the cost of backtracking and repeated use of maps, with simpler boss fights. The resistance management screen and pet chimera provide some interesting side activities.

In the third act, players embark on a grand journey through different locales in the Ink, but with fewer side quests and hidden content.

The final battle is long, but ultimately not very interesting. Despite the lackluster ending, the game overall offers an enjoyable experience with plenty of variety throughout the three acts.

<![CDATA[Everything To Know About Diablo 4: Release Date, Classes, Gameplay... And More!]]> https://gurugamer.com/pc-console/diablo-4-release-date-classes-gameplay-20964 Fri, 09 Sep 2022 06:12:00 +0000 https://gurugamer.com/pc-console/diablo-4-release-date-classes-gameplay-20964
Diablo 4 is one of the most hyped upcoming RPG releases to date and is scheduled to come out in 2023. Check this article to find out more.]]>

Diablo 4 was announced quite a while ago, back at BlizzCon 2019. It is something that all fans of the ARPG genres have been waiting for. However, similar to all their other games, Blizzard has been taking a lot of time working on Diablo 4.

In this article, Gurugamer is going to showcase everything available about Diablo 4 so far, including the expected release date, classes, and gameplay.

1. Diablo 4 Release Date (Official)

Initially, the game was expected to come out in late 2022. However, it has been delayed to 2023 instead. Outside of this reveal, no specific date is available.

Diablo 4 Min

Diablo 4 will launch on pretty much all platforms: from PC, current-gen consoles (PS5, Xbox Series X) to last-generation consoles (PS4 & Xbox One). The game will also have crossplay and cross-progression across all platforms. Players will need a Battle.Net account for that, of course.

According to the GM of the Diablo franchise, public beta testing will come out in 2023.

2. Diablo 4 Storyline: What Is the Game About?

In Diablo 3 and its expansion, pretty much all the prime Evils and most of the angels have been destroyed. Diablo 4 takes place a few years after the events of its predecessor and is going to feature Lilith, the daughter of Mephisto. She will likely be the upcoming title’s main antagonist.

Diablo 4 Campaign Length

In an interview with Gamespot, Diablo 4 director Joe Shely officially confirmed that the game’s campaign will be a 35-hour experience. The world of Sanctuary will expand even further, with a number of new, expansive regions.

The devs have uploaded a number of videos showcasing the new regions:

3. Diablo 4 Gameplay

Classes

Diablo 4 Classes Best 11

Similar to Diablo 2 and 3, Diablo 4 will launch with five classes:

 • Barbarian: A brutal, physical warrior, the Barbarian roams around the battlefield constantly, dishing heavy damage and wielding an array of powerful weapons with ease.
 • Sorceress: The Sorcerer is described as a "high risk, high reward" style of hero, harnessing potent elemental magic, but being fragile. Their spells are designed around Fire, Cold, and Lightning abilities.
 • Druid: The master of shapeshifting makes his triumphant return to Sanctuary! Seamlessly changing forms from human to Werebear to Werewolf, his command over earth and storm magic is second to none.
 • Rogue: The Rogue is an adaptable, agile warrior who can specialize in ranged or close-quarters combat. This class combines aspects of the original Rogue, the Amazon, Assassin and Demon Hunter.
 • Necromancer: Necromancers are cunning summoners that conjure vengeful hordes of the undead. Their Essence flows into three powerful bastions of Bone, Blood, or Shadow to bring low their enemies.

Map system

Diablo 4 will be an open-world adventure that sees players travel between various hubs. This means players would be able to travel between regions, just like in previous diablo games.

To add more visual variety and challenge, these regions will have day/ night cycles along with a weather-changing system.

Additionally, the game will feature hundreds of dungeons, which will be randomly generated. It also has a non-linear storyline and players won’t be forced to stick to a particular quest order.

New Skill System

Blizzard has taken fans' feedback about the bad skill system in Diablo 3 and reworked the skill system in Diablo 4 extensively. The Diablo 4 skill system would look like a tree, with separate sections for Skills and Passives.

Skill Tree

Players can only fill 30-40% of the nodes in the endgame, so they need to build their own skill set carefully. The passives section will hold more general upgrades to your character.

Misc

 • While Diablo 3 had monsters classified into categories like demons, unholy, and undead, Diablo 4 is coming out with even more monster families.
 • The game has a deeper level of weapon customization that sits somewhere between Diablo 2 and 3.
 • There are three new stats affecting the on-hit effect.

4. Diablo 4 Endgame is Different

Diablo 4

Paragon Board

Players will be able to access the Paragon Board in Diablo 4 once they reach level 50. Each paragon tile you earn will give your character a bonus or a boost that makes you stronger.

Diablo 4 PvP and Online Modes

Diablo 4 is an always-online game. This means players will see other players in open-world activities. There will also be world events that other players can attend.

Blizzard has now confirmed that PvP is coming back to the upcoming Diablo 4 game. However, it would be a completely optional mechanic - you can skip it entirely if you don't want interruptions.

While there won't be an offline mode, Diablo 4 will get couch co-op support.

Will Diablo 4 Have Microtransactions?

Blizzard has confirmed that Diablo 4 is not pay-to-win. While the game will be coming with microtransactions, paid content will center on cosmetics and eventually full expansions.

Just keep your hopes up in check, when coming to this year's Blizzcon.]]>

Diablo is one of the biggest and most beloved game franchise in the world right now. And with the Blizzcon event coming in just a few days, there are a lot of rumors about a brand new Diablo game. But sadly, Blizzard has shot down some early expectation of gamers for a "Diablo IV game", with a new blog post.

In Blizzard's blog, the company has made certain that people should keep their expectation in check, when coming to this year's Blizzcon.

blizzcon-diablo-iv
Just a few days before Blizzcon 2018

"We know what many of you are hoping for and we can only say that 'good things come to those who wait,' but evil things often take longer. We appreciate your patience as our teams work tirelessly to create nightmarish experiences worthy of the Lord of Terror."

What does that mean to you? That mean: "Diablo IV might not coming this year, sadly."

So you better not keep your hope up too high while waiting for Blizzcon this year.

All those speculations about Diablo IV comes from an announcement from Blizzard earlier this year. In those announcements, Blizzard said that they were working on several projects for the Diablo franchise. The start of these projects is a Nintendo Switch port of Diablo III, coming on November 2nd, 2018. Also, the company has posted new jobs recruitments for their new projects, which is an “action-packed game, unique visual direction, and beautiful, visceral combat experience”. All these information makes the fans believed that, Diablo IV is coming, start with an announcement at Blizzcon 2018.

Just keep your hopes up in check, when coming to this year's Blizzcon

Blizzcon 2018 will start on November 2nd, 2018, in Anaheim Convention Center, Anaheim, California. This year's event is Diablo-themed and will focus more about the franchise's future. There is also a Diablo panel on this year's event, with a lot of Diablo collectibles, too.

But for now, the wait still remains.
