If you want to build a good-looking base, finding the right base biome is actually pretty important. There are quite a few biomes to choose from in Minecraft, as the game has a lot of variety and diversity. Major biomes might even have various sub-biomes.

In this article, Gurugamer is going to showcase the top 5 best looking biomes in Minecraft.

1. Lush Cave

A lush cave is a temperate Overworld cave biome that has unique fauna and flora. This biome can be found underground below azalea trees. The floor is covered in dripleaf while the ceiling is home to Glow berries. Players can find glow squids, tropical fish, and axolotls here, with the latter being exclusive to the biome.

Players cannot spawn in a lush caves biome during the world generation so they need to locate one in order to build their base.

2. Flower Forest

In Minecraft, the Flower Forest is a biome in the Overworld. It is covered in green grass and sprinkled with beautiful flowers. In fact, you can find almost every flower in the game, including dandelions, poppies, alliums, azure bluets, red tulips, orange tulips, white tulips, pink tulips, oxeye daisies, lilacs, rose bushes, and lily of the valley. Because of this, flower forest is one of the biomes where you can find bees 100% of the time.

However, this biome is quite rare and all will only spawn naturally near forest and birch forest biomes.

3. Mushroom Field

This is the best biome to start in Minecraft for beginners, however, it is also one of the rarest biomes to encounter. Overall, it is best to look for a Mushroom Field seed on the internet. This biome spawns a unique mob called Mooshroom, which can provide mushroom soup when milked. Players can find villages here, alongside a lot of big mushrooms.

4. Jungle

Jungle is a lush warm biome full of dense vegetation in the Overworld. Jungles are best known for their extremely tall trees, the tallest amongst all the biomes. Besides trees, it also has quite a few unique vegetation and wild life - this is the only biome where you can find ocelots.

If you look carefully in the Jungle biome, you will sometimes find a rare Jungle temple, which can be refitted into a base after clearing.
