1. Fortune III / Silk Touch
Choose either Fortune III or Silk Touch for your pickaxe; you can't have both. Fortune III is usually the superior choice since it boosts mining drops (diamonds, redstone dust, lapis lazuli, emeralds, etc.). However, note that Fortune doesn't affect blocks like ancient debris and netherite. On the other hand, Silk Touch lets you mine stone blocks directly instead of obtaining cobblestone, which can be handy for constructing structures such as castles.
2. Mending
Mending is the second most commonly used enchantment in Minecraft. It allows you to repair any equipped item by collecting experience orbs. Whether you are wearing the item or have it in your main hand or off hand, it can be repaired using this enchantment.
Furthermore, Mending can be applied to multiple items simultaneously. The game randomly selects an item that requires repair and automatically fixes it using the experience orbs. However, if none of the equipped items need repairing, the experience orbs are added to the player's experience instead. Additionally, if the randomly selected item is already at full durability and doesn't need repairs, the experience orbs contribute to the player's experience bar.
3. Sharpness

4. Feather Falling
Don't be misled by the name of this enchantment in Minecraft, as it doesn't affect the speed of your descent. Instead, it significantly reduces the damage taken from falling. This enchantment can be upgraded up to four levels, with each level providing a 12% reduction in fall damage. To apply it, you'll need to use an Enchantment table on your boots.
Feather Falling is among the rarest enchantments obtainable through the Enchantment table. However, it's important to note that it doesn't make you invulnerable to death. Without additional protection, even with Feather Falling 4, a fall from a height of 55 blocks can still be lethal.
5. Piercing IV / Multishot

Using a shovel to break iron, for example, will not yield faster results. Efficiency only functions when the correct tool is used to break a compatible block.
8. Fire Protection
When venturing into the perilous Nether realm, the fire protection enchantment becomes an invaluable asset, quite literally saving your life. It can be applied to pants, chest plates, helmets, and boots. Once added, this enchantment completely negates any fire damage inflicted upon the player. With a total of four levels available, each level grants an additional 8% protection against fire.
This means that even with a single fully enchanted piece of armor, you can achieve up to 32% fire protection. The level of protection increases even further when multiple armor pieces with this enchantment are worn simultaneously.
